Am I wrong in recalling that Carlos Dunlap had a better game than Michael Johnson? _________________ Welcome to Houston, DeAndre Hopkins! |

It was close. Both played out of their minds. Dunlap applied more consistent pressure, but MJ93 got home more... _________________

Watching the game, i felt like Dunlap provided more presence with less snaps. So yeah.
MJ93 finished off 3 plays though, so he got the sexy sack numbers. _________________

MJ93 plays RDE? So he pretty much owned Trent Williams? _________________

Watt could win it every week (thus far) and I wouldn't argue.
As for MJ93 along with the three quarterback sacks, Johnson also generated seven additional hits on the quarterback, had a pass defensed and played the run really well:

Only 1 sack on Trent IIRC. He got hurt in the 1st quarter and was replaced by Jordan Black... _________________

He owned the back-up LT, Williams was carted off the field during the first quarter of the game with an injury. |
I thought Williams returned later in the game? _________________

He did return later with a limp... didn't play the whole game. _________________

Reynaud had the kick return touchdown, and threw the lateral pass for the punt return touchdown, so he certainly earned it. _________________

Agreed. Not trying to take anything away from Johnson, as he had a really great game against a hot team...but Watt was renting real estate in the Denver backfield, stopping the run and the pass equally. Had the sack the effectively ended Denver's game and forced a punt which allowed the Texans to run off the clock...heck, he even recovered the fumble on Denver's "the Stanford band is on the field!" play.
Just a big performance, arguably his best this season, and that's saying a lot. _________________

Well it was the best performance of MJ93's career...granted that's not saying too much,
Still 7 tackles, 3 sacks, 7 pressures, 1 PD and playing well against the run. Not too shabby. Just doesn't look as impressive because our LB's, mainly Maulauga, sucked hard. I think I just read how Rey is 2nd in the league in missed tackles now... _________________

No, no...it's a great day, no doubt. Perfectly fine with the nod, just wanted to pimp out MEGAWatt. _________________
