he was out at the painesville/mentor Harry Buffalo last night and looked like he was in pretty good shape and looks healthy

Doesn't really help too much. Obviously it helps, but right now RBs are not getting any yards between the guards. Even the big gains that are designed to go inside are bounced to the outside where the DEs are out of possition, the OLBs are no where to be found, the safteys are not flying to the ball then miss tackles, and D'Qwell Jackson is 5 yards down field waiting for the back to get to him. Until those other things change we are still going to give up sizeable chunks of rush yards every game evenw ith Phil Taylor.

Well he can't practice with the team until after week 6 since he's on the PUP list, so I'll go ahead and say week 7. |

Good news so long as we don't bring him back before he's 100%. I know that he would help us, but there should be no rush on this. If he comes back too soon and gets re-injured, the entire staff should get fired.

| While I'm sure Taylor will help, DT has actually been one of the strongest positions for the Browns. I doubt he will raise the level of play for the defense that much. |

IIRC, he's got a 3 week (or so) window in which he can return.
Either he comes back then, or he goes on IR.
He's far and away our most talented DL, I can't see how he won't make a significant impact if he's healthy.
