Through three weeks
Brandon Carr:
Targets 10
Completions 3
Yards 56
YPA 5.6
PDs 2
0 Penalties
Morris Claiborne:
Targets 8
Completions 7
Yards 73
YPA 9.1
PDs 1
1 Penalty
Orlando Scandrick:
Targets 10
Completions 5
Yards 79
YPA 7.9
PDs 1
0 Penalties
Mike Jenkins:
Targets 2
Completions 0
Yards 0
What a difference a year makes . Brandon Carr has pitched two straight shutouts and Claiborne is doing a fine job as well. Obviously the completion percentage is high for Claiborne, but he is less than 25 yards per game. Jenkins has a small sample size but Scandrick for the most part has done good as well. _________________

Good to know. Curious though, do you have a link to where you're getting these metrics from? I'd like to review them myself. _________________

Claiborne gets a poor rating yesterday because the sideline or back judge blew the call. Smith should have been the one flagged for offensive PI and not the other way around.
Carter's number is low because on one play he was asked to cover Boldin. _________________

I'm not a Cowboys fan by any means, but man was I ticked off when they called PI on Claiborne with Smith pushed him off. Big fan of Claiborne though . _________________

Carter looked fantastic in coverage and the play Carr fell down on was the reason for half his yards and most of his YaC _________________

I must have missed that play, but he's cooled off just a bit after a fast start. _________________

The wide open Boldin down the sideline for 30+TDs, he jammed at the line then fell trying to turn and run _________________

30+TDs
Kidding, but yeah I know you meant to say 30+ yard reception. I had the Eagles game on the computer and probably was switching to the Falcons/Raiders game at that point. Still, the secondary is MUCH improved and is #1 in the league in yards given up through the air. _________________

Claiborne with his first INT!!!!! Don't like the fact he has allowed a TD in three consecutive games, BUT HE IS A ROOKIE! _________________

so does that metric imply that Claiborne had a better game than Carr???
Cause I think all of us would take that type of performance against steve smith any day of the week. _________________ Quote from May 7, 2013...

I don't really care for their rankings when grading CBs, but use their raw numbers. A CB can allow 100 yards but if he has like 2 PDs some how it gets graded positive compared to a guy allowing one catch for 10 yards. _________________

Their rankings are a joke and their tracking questionable. _________________
