Gabbert should have a "breakout" game against our secondary. They are so bad and our defense can't tackle to save their lives. Should be a high scoring game _________________

Not to take away from him if he does put up good #s, but our secondary isn't a good gauge of how good Gabbert is progressing. Our LBs are terrible too. But if Gabbert can avoid Dunlap, Atkins, and Johnson he will be good _________________

Good luck this weekend guys. Just hoping for an injury free game.
I'll be interested in getting a close look at Gabbert and Blackmon. If the Bengals can get the kind of pressure on Gabbert they got on RGIII, it could be a long day for him. If they don't, then i expect Gabbert to pick apart a thin Bengals secondary.
In any case, MJD should have a big game. 150 yards or so is my guess.
On the other side of the ball, i'll be watching BJGE to see if he can pick up his pace. So far he was good vs. Baltimore, but has been slowing down as the games go (Washington's rush D is no joke).
I'll also be watching to see how Andy Dalton does. He was ok vs. Baltimore, and great against cleveland and washington (two below average defenses). I think the Jags have a slightly better D than these two, so if Dalton can play well again we'll know he's no joke.
Should be interesting. Later guys. _________________

Hopefully I'm not being an anti-homer too much here in this post... I just think this is realistic.
I think the chances definitely outweigh us, I don't really see a win. It looks to me like (I haven't watched a full Bengals game yet this season) they only use Green, but it works and that's their thing to do. Though if the Jaguars can completely shutdown Green then I can see a possibility of us winning.
Though there may be a few other variables that may affect the game...
1. Does Blackmon breakout yet?
2. Does Landry/Lowery play every snap?
3. Do our defensive ends get any pressure?
24-13 Bengals. _________________

Honestly, and *knock on wood*, I'm only worried about AJ Green if Derek Cox gets hurt. _________________

AJ accounts for 27% of Andy Dalton's passing yards. Yeah he gets the bulk of the targets, but Armon Binns, Andrew Hawkins and Jermaine Gresham are very formidable targets. I assure you you're defensive gameplan will revolve around those guys as well.

What makes you say that? The only guy to ever limit AJ has been Joe Haden, and that was AJ's first career game (and Dalton's). Not saying it can't happen, but it seems like a silly statement. Like saying, i'm not worried about Larry Fitzgerald or Calvin Johnson.
Sorry if that comes off combative - i really don't care that much. Just seems like an odd statement. _________________

Because Cox is an elite corner, who most around here believe can lock down anybody.
AJ has been held under 41 yards (the number of yards that Haden locked him down for) 4 other times, each when he was playing one of the better corners in the league. I think he should be able to put in a similar performance this week as well. _________________

Derek Cox's last 13 games (since he got back from the foot injury/confidence issues that got him benched)
23/59 305 yards 1 TD, 2INTs 6PDs, 47.6 QB rating
One of the elite CBs in this league. I'm not sure any #1 WR will worry me as long as Cox is healthy.
EDIT: That doesn't include the last game, but he didn't allow a catch last week, so the only things that will change is the attempts and PDs. _________________
