I doubt it would make a difference considering how bad our special teams coverage and coaching have been under Tabor. _________________

| Hodges is fine. He's just on the field more than he should be. We need to fix our offense, not our punter. |

Really?
He looked like a pile of [inappropriate/removed] on Sunday.
But yea, lets not improve our team where we can; when we can because we're solely staring at 1 glaring problem with tunnel vision. _________________

Can we lock this already?
1. He is 5 years older than Hodges doesn't really have a future in the NFL.
2. He was cut for a reason. He is not performing like he was year ago.
3. Reggie Hodges is only 3 games back from a bad injury.
4. Punting is the least of the teams problems. _________________

| Meh. His net average was 30th in the NFL through 3 weeks. He's a name, but he wasn't preforming up to this point. |

Yea cuz there is somewhere on this forum that actually restricts actual football talk once in a while.
I just said he was released and asked if there was interest. Its a valid question. No reason to lock it. _________________

Scott Player is the best football player of all time, so I'm not sure what you're trying to say.
And, if you're gonna try to insult Scott, I'll also have to point out that his net average in Cleveland was 8 yards higher than Moorman's is so far this season.

Wait
On the field more than he should be?
Are you saying his punting was crap this weekend because of fatigue from too much punting???

If it's younger punters you'd be okay with...Chas Henry was released by the Eagles.

PUNT AVG LNG YDS TB TB%-IN20-IN20%-ATT YDS AVG NET
Season 26 43.1 54 1120 1 3.8 8 30.8 7 149 21.3 36.6
Career 256 41.5 61 10620 18 7.0 76 29.7 110 983 8.9 37.6
Project 104 43.1 54 4480 4 3.8 32 30.8 28 596 21.3 36.6
We can pass, Hodges is a decent punter. He is definitely not the reason why we are 0-4. He cant punt, and tackle down field 40 yards at the same time. We need to have more technically sound play by everyone including Hodges, but he is the least of my worries.
I hope there comes a day when I am complaining because the punter is the worst player on our team.
ps. couldn't figure out how to line up the stats |
