Our defense is better.

Their offense is better.

So this should be a close field goal game and in that case I think the home team is favored.

How much better is their offense really? Worst case OLs are equal, WRs are pretty much equal, and I'd take Matt Forte over DeMarco Murray. I think somebody earlier said it best, realistically we are better at every position on the field except TE and Witten isn't right. Whereas you can't run on our D, you can run all over theirs.

Where did the notion that we have a bad run defense come from?

Cutler as the Bears QB is 6-7 in primetime games [3-7 if you remove games against the Vikings] and 3-6 on the road.

On the road: 168/288, 1859 yards, 6.45 YPC, 10 TDs and 18 INTs.

Overall: 249/424, 2791 yards, 6.48 YPC, 18 TDs and 21 INTs.

I think our defense will dominate but our offense is what is going to kill us against a good and aggressive Cowboys defense.

Cutler's 1-0 vs Dallas in Dallas as a Bear. He's never lost!

Giving up 113 ypg and 4.0 ypc isn't exactly a "good" run d, now is it?

From the fact that you have a bad run defense it's not Saints bad, but it's bad.

-Their QB has been playing better than ours.

-Forte may not be playing.

-The OLs are both bad.

And while we may be more talented at a number of positions we have not been showing it in offense.

If this game comes down to QB play I think the Bears are at a disadvantage right now.

I want the Bears to win, but I cannot favor them on the road against a good defense.

Other than the Colts who are epicly bad against the run we do not have that strong of a running attack.

We averages 3 yards per carry against the Rams.

W/o Matt Forte and running 3 straight series w/ Khalil Bell where they knew we were going to run and I don't think we gained a single yard. How bad was Bell? Well he ran 10 times for 20 yards, w/ a long of 18. Think about that for a second.

It's more fun to cherry pick the stats that help your argument though, 51% of all people know that

Your acting like Forte is playing and I doubt it.

We had Ryan Grant in for a workout for a reason.

Bell was awful, but the Cowboys front 4 is more impressive than the Rams without Brockers in my opinion.

If Forte plays it would help, but this comes down to Cutler who struggles in Prime Time on the road.

He also struggles when pressured which is anothe serious issue.

Yes, we had Grant in b/c Bell was absolutely awful. Until I hear Forte isn't playing, I'm going to be pretty certain he is. It will be 18 days since the injury, nearly 3 full weeks on a 2 week injury. Had this been the playoffs Forte probably would have played yesterday w/ a pain killing injection. And you would be wrong about the Cowboys front, they have 1 outstanding player in Ware, no doubt, the Rams have 2 outstanding players and a bunch of pretty good ones on their DL.

As for PT on the road, I don't buy into any of that crap, but just for S&Gs here's Jay's #s from his MNF games while he's been a Bear

Week 5 @ Det 28-38 73.7% 249 yds 1 TD 0 INT 99.6 QBR
Week 9 @ PHI 18-32 56.3% 208 yds 2 TD 0 INT 96.9 QBR

2010
Week 3 GB 16-27 59.3% 221 yds 1 TD 1 INT 82.5 QBR
Week 15 @ MIN 14-24 58.3% 194 yds 3 TD 1 INT 106.6 QBR

2009
Week 16 MIN 20-35 57.1% 273 yds 4 TD 1 INT 108.4 QBR

Son in 5 MNF Games as a Bear Jay has 1145 yards, 11 TDs 3 INTs 7.3 ypa, 4 of the 5 w/ a QBR above 90, 2 above 100.

Jay has struggled historically on Sunday night, on Monday Night he's been on fire. None of that really matters, but I thought I would rebuke your arguement anyway, care to try another?
