It seems kind of unproductive to insist on running behind your worst linemen over and over again into the heart of the defense. I know the words "creative" and "running" aren't usually associated with each other, but I can't help but think our running game really needs to mix in some tosses and stretch plays to keep defenses honest. |

I agree. The Ravens were crowding the line all night long. Shurmur tried to throw our way out of it (although we stuck with the short passes for way too long). Some outside running plays would've been nice now and then. _________________ Cleveland Browns: We put the fun in dysfunction.

It's nearly impossible to post on an iPhone. I suck at it so bad... We need an app for that... Footballsfuture app? _________________

If you read that article I posted from PFF, Ravens blitz almost 50% of the passing plays. And I noticed they blitzed the A and B gap a ton. Weeden failed to find the open crossing routes that were there all day.
As far as the runs outside, I agree.
12 outside runs this year for T-Rich. 9 to the right. _________________ 2013 First Ballot Recipient of the Joe Blackburn Award |
