Did anyone catch the first episode? I thought it was very interesting. I'll be watching for sure. Also, James Spader is perfect for this role, very believable.

It was pretty good. Casting seems on point too.

Loved the pilot.

The premise is pretty good itself, but ultimately is more to introduce the mysteries.

1. Are they father/daughter?
2. Why did he start down the criminal path?
3. What is the husband hiding?

Really interested to see where this all goes.

The show definitely has an interesting plot, but I hated the pacing. The editing and cuts seemed to frantic and the entire thing was a conveyer belt of action with very little character development. Hopefully they corrected this in later episodes.

I thought it was way too contrived. She's super late for her first day working for the FBI? The husband being some secret agent, having it revealed in episode 1, and then show a preview where she doesn't confront him on it? I generally like Spader, but is his character anything more than a poor man's Hannibal Lecter? They even had to go out of their way to not have him say "quid pro quo" because they did the exact same thing. I'm not sure if I'm going to give the next episode a chance or not yet.

She's pretty, but there were a handful of times in the pilot where her acting was cringeworthy. It's fine, though... it's to be expected on a basic cable TV show.

I thought it was pretty good. It felt a lot like a 24 episode but instead of Keifer Sutherland, they have James Spader who is a much more talented actor. I'll check out a couple more episodes to see where it goes.

I thought it was good, not great. It has potential, but I need to see more.

I'm wondering if that wasn't a flashback?

I really liked the premiere. I've always been a fan of James Spader. I think he is a terrific actor and he seems absolutely perfect in this role.

I normally will give a show like this about 3-4 episodes before I make a decision to continue to watch....I like Spader so I hope it turns out to be better then the Pilot....not that the Pilot was bad, but I need more if I'm going to use one of my few precious hours of free time on it.

Right. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good enough to keep me watching if this is as good as it gets. I'll watch the second episode tonight.
