Opening Sequence
It's the History Channels first scripted TV Show. The Promos look like the show has potential. Since Spartacus is ending this might soften the blow. It starts March 3rd.

‘Vikings,’ which was created and written by Michael Hirst, will show Ragna’s ambitions to discover civilizations across the great ocean to the west, as well as his conflicts along the way. With the help of his friend Floki, played by Gustaf Skarsgard, the two build a new generation of boats, which are faster, sleeker and more beautifully crafted than anything else on the sea. |

I only have a couple complaints. Ragnars wife is a bad actress. Most of all though, it's a lot slower than I thought it was. It doesn't have to be Spartacus badass action sequences every episode fast. I just thought more would happen in an episode.

I'm about to watch episode two. All I could think of is Skyrim while watching the first episode, though. Not sure if I'm into it but I'll give it a chance.

I actually think they moved along well enough, 3 episodes in and they been/on two raids.

The storyline is moving along quickly, but I agree, the dialogue seems a bit slow. I don't even know what night it's on during the week but after that bit with lindisfarne, i'm kinda hooked.
