Not if Kolb keeps playing like this. The team is 3-0, don't fix what's not broken. _________________

Have to play Kolb. I know that sucks for John, especially when you've got a coach who says you can't lose your job due to injury but we have to continue playing Kevin Kolb at QB right now. |

Whiz just got asked about it. Said he's not even going to address it until Skelton is healthy enough to play, which Whiz said he isn't.
Maybe ask this question in a couple of weeks, see how things look then. |

I see Skelton staying unhealthy in reports until Kolb does something in game to get that changed. |

Interesting situation; Last Season Skelton came in and did nothing but win with this team. As soon as Kolb was healthy he was put back in, first against SF and then against Dallas.
The big difference in the situation here is that Kolb is playing mistake free football, is moving the chains and creating scoring chances.
Whis is a big proponent of the best player will play. That leads me to believe that Kolb will remain the starter, but I would not be surprised if, as has been said, Skelton remained "injured", or Skelton actually was given the job back.
Bottom line, it looks funny now the reports of the team playing harder for Skelton than for Kolb. This team just wants to win football games. _________________

That was all bs from the very beginning. Anyone who bought into that was doing so because football had been gone for 3-4 months and they were starving for news.
After Kolb leads the drive against Seattle, Adrian deflects a question about his INT and praises Kolb. Reporter goes to Dockett and asks about how good the defense as a whole looked, he says nothing about it and praises Kolb. I'm sure some guys are closer to others on this team, that's only human nature as you develop personal relationships with teammates but no one could ever convince me that anyone on this team would or was playing harder for any other player. |

I asked this question the day Skelton got hurt. If i had a vote it would be to let Kolb continue. |

Usually you dont lose your job for injury, but performance.
Interesting issue coming, if we beat Miami and Stl, I think KK stays for the long term.
if we drop a game, then the speak goes back to JS |

Right now, you have to stick with Kolb. He is playing good and making great decisions. Unless he tanks 2 games in a row I wouldn't make a change. |

Not so much if we lose a game, but it will be how we lose a game, if we lose and Kolb turns it over 2 or 3 times while the offense stalls and goes nowhere, the talk will come back.
I have been firmly on the Whis will let John start when he is healthy bandwagon, but honestly Kolb has played the best football we have seen from a QB on this team since Kurt was here, we cannot just throw that aside. _________________

For what it's worth, Skelton wrote on his twitter page that he's still 2 weeks out. |
