Singling a player out isn't good business. CALL OUT EVERY SINGLE PLAYER THAT'S BEEN PLAYING BAD. Point blank.
|
It is not disgusting. different players take to different forms of coaching. I know in college when it came to calling out players. the Headcoach knew which players he could call out infront of the team, he knew which players he needed to pull into his office, he knew which players that needed to be approached by their position coach and so on. Also calling out a single player can send out a warning flare that if you dont pull your act together that you could be the next person to be called out to the media
| kelbot wrote: | Why are we suprised that a RB turned WR with maturity issues is in the doghouse for drops and unnecessary celebrating?

He was never a true RB, he was always a WR who played some RB. Played RB because of his physical ability. He was recruited as a WR at UNC and was a WR for UNC but would play RB for UNC when they got hit by injuries at the RB depth or wanted to get the ball into the hands. Dont make it out that he was an RB his entire left and just became a WR when he got to the Browns |
No, it's disgusting to single out one player, when it's a bunch of players playing like crapola.
Marecic, the guards, and corners should be called out for their terrible play. |

Marecic, the guards and our corners aren't celebrating like they won a gold medal every time they get a first down. _________________

I soured on him the first time I saw him punt the ball into the crowd during a preseason game. Small wonder a guy with his attitude found himself missing an entire year of college football. |
I'm old school, don't care for the attention grabbing stuff either. That being said, if his game made up for it I don't care.
Also MBTL (I think) was begging for that punt, so I enjoyed it. |
F yah i was.
Pretty judgmental to think that just cause a guy showboats means that he's got a bad attitude. Joe J sure had a bad attitude because he did the first down celebration EVERY TIME HE CAUGHT A FIRST DOWN. Those Packers- they sure are thugs for doing the lambeau leap. |
Don't think they do the Lambeau leap after a first down when they are down by 10 in the 4th quarter. |
Yeah, because the wall isn't close to every first down. _________________

The difference between replacing Little and replacing someone like Pinskston is that there is someone to replace Little. I like G Little, but guys like Gordon, Cribbs, Benjamin, and MoMass can handle all his snaps and it wouldn't take anything away from our team. _________________

Little was on the field for 97% of the offensive snaps last week.
Next closest was Benjamin at 62%.
Might not be as easy as all that to replace him. |

Very true.
In all honesty, the reason Little's play is so frustrating is because of his obvious talent.
The guy should be a matchup nightmare week-in-week-out, not a liability.
At some point Little is simply going to have to shut up and play football if he wants to hang around this league.
Underperforming WR's with an overinflated opinion of themselves are a dime a dozen in the NFL.
It's time for the kid to start acting like a grown arse man. _________________

So is A.J. Green. | A.J. Green is a freak of nature, arguably the best receiver prospect ever.
In other news, Mo Mass is out tomorrow night. We're going to need Greg or Gordon to step up to have a chance in this one. |

This all points again to very poor management, and the failure to bring in a quality veteran WR (or even more than one!) through FA to help the offense and to help teach these young WRs.
Building through the draft is great idea, but you can't only build through the draft..... N way should little and nowgordon been thrown into full time starting positions in the nfl. |

A bit of bad luck to top it off, we had both guys the Redskins got, then they broke the bank for them.
And for what its worth, one is injured and the other blew his team's win with a boneheaded play. _________________

Plaxico Burress? Though, I'm pretty sure he's waiting for a decent contender to call him up. _________________ "You mean...this ain't Malcolm Browns car...? ...Damn...my bad..."
