Fixed.
My thoughts...we have two speedier guys but nobody that is going to fight through traffic or go up and take the ball from someone, we need that guy. Thus my Justin Blackmon bandwagon and Hakeem Nicks before that. _________________

Well we could wait one more year to see if Sunshine Cooper pans out to be our red-zone threat/Go get it guy. _________________

| The Eagles have one speedy guy in Desean. Maclin is just another guy with adequate speed as to not be limited by any sort of lack of it. He was ordinary at the combine (for a potential starting WR) and he's certainly no faster today. |

While I think Maclin does add value to our receivers, we haven't got that mismatch receiver which I know we all want.
I have no idea who we would throw to in a hail mary situation. _________________

i think if maclin wasnt made of glass...it he would be...but more by default...we have no pure WR. he doesnt go over the middle well anymore since he just breaks into pieces. but he still is our best WR imo. _________________

What we need to do is cut Jackson and Avant, use McNutt and get two bigger possession receivers while using Maclin both in the slot an on the outside and see what he does
The difference between Maclin and Jackson
Who's quit on this team before?
Jackson not Maclin
Who always dives to the ground when he's about to get hit?
Jackson not as much Maclin
Who chokes in the playoffs in the last two playoff games?
Jackson not as much Maclin.
DeSean Jackson is a cancer, punk, arrogant, overrated, doesn't show improvement and a waste of a roster spot. |

Who do defenses respect?
Jackson not Maclin.

Maclin was a guy who was billed as a faster game player than timed player. At Mizzou he was a "weapon" and i'm sure that if you look up a lot of scouting profiles they will cite "total yards" or "all purpose yards" because he was a pretty good returner in college as well. That said he's a still a good WR, not an elite talent, and if he could stay healthy there's not reason why he couldn't break the 1,000 yard mark. _________________

You now what else, people seem to forget that he had 10 TD catches in his 2nd year. It's as if those scores were all a product of accidents. _________________

Maclin doesn't look like the guy he was in college. His skill set is all around mediocre. _________________

Andy Reid actually teaches that. It's something that I've heard the west coast offense developed and you can see Jerry Rice doing it, although he also breaks tackles... Desean is probably more blatant with his diving than any WR in the NFL. But it's something that is taught to receivers. |
