Keaps deep ball was under thrown. Moss has to slow up and elevate for it. Not a bad pass, but he didnt lead him. _________________

I almost avoid this section of the forum since the 9ers acquired Moss. |

That unfortunate. This is a good forum that will be very active well into January, if not further. _________________

NBT, keep it up! However, once Moss does take the top off the defense, what are we to expect from you? _________________

He'll come back with "I told you so"s. Yes, plural. It will rain "I told you so"s. We're doomed to be forever annoyed. But if we win the Superbowl, we'll gladly put up with it. _________________

Same "time for the bomb" as there usually, but combined with celebrations of seeing them made reality.
Truth be told, but Randy used to own defenses week in and week out, I didnt post as much. Too busy celebrating / dont feel the need to call for moss's involvement
when randy wins, EVERYONE wins. _________________

... or as Harbaugh and the 49ers would put it - when the 49ers win Randy wins! _________________

Pretty surprised to see we only completed 12 passes and beat a team 34-0. _________________

At least he's not Joe Buck...
That's what I always tell myself when annoyed by an announcer that isn't Joe Buck. _________________

Harbaugh don't believe in no losing streaks.
5-0 after a 49ers loss (including a win against the Packers after the Giants playoff loss). _________________ -Not taking this off until the 49ers win #6 |

anyone else think that Santonio holmes was just sour for a number of different reasons and is faking an injury? because the xrays they took were negative and it honestly looked like he threw the ball to carlos rodgers on purpose. his leg doesnt twist or anything. I could understand dropping the ball right when it happens, but throwing it a few seconds after being on the ground? seems... strange, to me.
the jets stink. I doubt rex ryan gets fired tho. the jets owner doesnt seem to care that they stink sucks to be a jets fan i guess. _________________

Some actually applauded Kaep's deep attempt to Moss...too many would be criticising Alex if he had taken that shot with that coverage. It was fun seeing Kaep's moves, but he's still got a way to go toward recognizing when to throw and when not to... Of course, it also appears Alex needs to be more decisive. |
I have seen alot of people asking for alex to just take the shot downfield to moss over the last few weeks. so I dont know if anyone would have been upset if it were int. But I am curious as to why JH brought Kaep in to throw the pass. I understand the reasoning but it still makes you think a little bit. We Have seen moss come up with that pass many many times from culpepper or brady so its worth it. Although I still dont see the explosion and seperation from moss |
I'm guessing its just to keep the Jets on their feet.
Although Kaep's throw was ill-advised, I'd say it was pretty accurate. Pretty impressive for guy who's main issue was accuracy. Alex's deep ball on the other hand?.....pretty bad. |
Alex's deep ball, when not thrown to Vernon Davis, is always too long. |
VERY good point! I hadn't thought of that. Alex may be used to Vernon's speed, so he throws it further so Davis catches it in stride. And you have to admit, he does catch Davis in stride on most of his deep throws. _________________
