There is a whole lot to like about this team, and, I for one hope the new FO is patient, but you can't really blame fans for being impatient.
Weeden can say Browns fans are negative, but the facts remain we are 0-4 and headed for another high draft pick. Facts are facts, and the fact is we suck.
Plain and simple for the plain and simple. |

I was pretty surprise with the fact that the Browns hung in there. Weeden didnt do great but he did go over 300 yards. Honestly he reminds me exactly of DA, except not in his pro bowl season. Trent couldnt get anything going in the run game but at least he did contribute catching the ball. This team still just seems to lack something despite drafting 2 offensive players. And of course Shurmur sucks, never should have fired Romeo!

I feel like the refs were looking for a reason to throw that flag to show that they were back. The holding call on Thomas was also ticky tak.

Might be the most overrated player in the nfl. Ill say this, the Ravens fans were on the whole really classy and gracious. I got some taunts but I took them in stride. No Moddell comments. One idiot making Lebron jokes and some 20 somethings who were just vulger and everyone was anoyed but beyond that everyone was pretty nice.
Makes me hate them just a little bit less.

I was on the way home from work at the time so I was listening on the radio and Donovan and Dieken said he way laying into the ref. Neither seemed surprised or upset with the flag. |

You know, I kinda view that as a positive, as long as we continue improving. It's not like last year where it felt like our team didnt belong in the same league, and although a loss is a loss is a loss, improvement does seem tangible with this team. We have Haden coming back after one more game, and as Reginald said, I think we're a Joe Haden away from winning this game. In the mean time, Skrine seems to be getting better, so when he's playing the opposing teams #2 instead of #1, I think our coverage game gets much improved. |
