replacement refs dont have built in Raiders bias. When real refs come back and we stay down I will believe. |
IF there was any bias, it was against the man in your sig. Now the Raiders are just like any other team. |
Not in the refs minds I am afraid.
Watch the penalties jump when they get back. I can see it already.
Fact is, we play a relatively clean game compared to alot of teams. |

Week 3 Coverage Stats:
Giordano 4-6 72 TD
Hanson 3-3 56
Huff 5-9 89 TD
Lee 5-6 59
Wheeler 4-6 24 TD
Also, for as good as Palmer has been, he's 0-9 on passes 21+ yards in air. He completed 16 in 9 starts last year. The WCO definitely has a part in that, but still interesting nonetheless. _________________

Wheeler payed very poorly outside of the 2 Forced fumbles.
What about Branch's stats? They can't be good. _________________

i dunno the new refs have been killing us with the no-calls.
in mia they missed a real bad hold on the long bush run, also moore got tackled on a redzone play dont know how they missed it
vrs pitt huff got clipped real nasty in the redzone
just two major plays off the top of my head.
we are playing smarter refs have nothing to do with that imo. we were the kings of false starts, pi's and encroachment. besides the pi's most of the flags had nothing to do with the refs.
my friend was clowning saying since we are 10yrds off the line in zone 90% of the time we will never get a defensive pi this year _________________

Yup. Gave up a few first down and took some bad angles. _________________

According to those stats he gave up 26 yards passing and that's counting the TD catch where Branch and Huff both went inside and left the outside wide open for Miller to walk into the end zone. If very poorly is giving up 26 yards when the opposing QB has all day to throw, i'm not quite sure what ok, good or great would take. _________________

he played good. heath doesnt get the props he deserves due to the te rich afc, but he is a beast and has been solid since day 1. _________________

This. Wheeler has been great. Miller is a solid TE. He's going to get his. Wheeler is always around the ball and forced to fumbles in the process. That's a step in the right direction for this D.
McClain who showed out week 1 has went back to McLame for me. Guy looks slow and is back to whiffing again. Burris is the guy that keeps growing. _________________

He is VERY underrated. He has never been flashy, but he is a good go-to guy for Roethlisberger and has been since he was a rookie. He has always been a reliable target. _________________

wheeler is always around the ball, only problem is on passing plays he is usually a step or 2 behind the guy he is covering. even in the running game he seems to be taking bad angles. guy has a great motor and is always around the ball, just bad angles and a step away.
and if he would have stayed on antonio brown in the endzone, or dove into the pile on the fumble in the endzone, it would have easily been raider ball. not sure what he was doing, but he got off of brown, and then seemingly stood up and watched the pile up, not quite sure what he was thinking. |

Wheeler has been our best LB by far.
He was constantly around the football & made big plays (forcing 2 fumbles and making one recovery). Ballhawk for sure. Coverage was slightly suspect but they had him on Miller a lot of the times & Big Ben had way too much time to throw. I remember seeing him lined up outside as a DB on one play too. Can't really fault him for that.
McClain has looked like the McClain of old the last 2 games. He's not assertive enough & I rarely see him make plays. Heck, I think it's safe to say Burris has been the 2nd best LB behind Wheeler.
Wish I had the coverage stats for Branch, but I agree, he hasn't looked too sharp in coverage so far either. _________________
