If we had our choice, this is a no brainer. Matt Barkley.

I'm torn between Geno Smith, Tyler Wilson, and Collin Klein (at least the guy has the heart of a lion)

I'll have to watch Geno play a few more times, but at this point I'm leaning Geno.

So what are the chances Matt Barkley, Geno Smith, and Tyler Wilson all come out next year? Because if they all do then we'd have a great chance at getting a franchise QB.

He also has a Tebow-esque windup. Not an NFL QB. Sorry.

he's not an NFL QB, but his accuracy is about 30x better than Tebow's. If Tebow can be a #1 pick then Klein should be one too

*Not that should does not mean "will" and Tebow never should have been a #1 pick, so don't go saying that I think Klein should be one*

Homer pick or not, gimme Tyler Wilson. Look at how crappy Arkansas is without him. His leadership qualities and intangibles are Peyton Manning-esque. He measurables are comparable (but better) than Tony Romo. And he rarely turns the ball over. He truly does have everything you could possibly want in a QB.

I really haven't seen anything from these QBs besides Barkley. By that I mean I know very little about them. I know Tyler Wilson might be available later in the round if we are there, which right now I think we've got a shot to be at the top of the round.

I didn't mention anything about his accuracy. I was talking about his mechanics. Too long of a stroke for the speed of the NFL game. That and he's just now learning how to BE a passer. No thanks. We just had one project QB in development on-the-fly in Cassel, not willing to do it again. He's a heck of a competitor and I like to watch him play, but I also like to see my Chiefs win. He can't do it for us.

I understand that, and I don't truly want him as our QB either. I'd still take him over Cassel though.

I would gladly take Klein in the mid rounds, even after we take a guy like Barkley/Smith/Wilson. They guy is instant offense, and I think Daboll would have a lot of fun with him. Plus as someone else said, the Honeybadger exudes leadership.

That is another thing I like about Barkley, he came back, because he wanted to win a championship, he came back for his team. That is the kind of leader you want to have.

Honestly though, I'll be pumped with just about any 1st round QB on that list, because as someone's entrance music in WWE used to say...

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH AND IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE!

Ryk, Wilson would probably be the QB I know the most about after Barkley, and as I stated earlier, I'd be pumped with him.

My question to those who watch more college football is this.

Are guys like Smith and Emanuel (who I was not impressed with this week) pocket passer or runners? I literally have never seen Smith play, but I thought someone was talking about how he was a run/option type of QB more than a traditional offense QB
