Agreed and like dummies, we hand out a ridiculous contract. Question: What's the worst contract we've handed out in the past couple of years? CJ? Amano? Griffin? _________________

CJ is pretty bad considering the amount of money he got, but he's got talent and showed he can do things.
Amano by far. Dude is straight trash. Finally something he wins at.
Griffin... not sure why he's listed. _________________

I... I think I agree with Ruskie? Not entirely, but some. CJ's contract is horrible, but at least he used to be great. Amano was never great. Never. At best he was the grey man at guard.
As unbelievably bad as Griffin is, I don't think his issue is effort. He just sucks. CJ appears to be a quitter. I'd rather waste money on somebody who tries but can't get the job done than somebody who won't even try. |

Well CJ looked pretty good today...before of the garbage time yardage. He was hitting the holes and taking what was there. He didn't break one like we're accustomed to, but he looked back to his old form...at least today. That was the one bright spot for me. Let's hope he starts rolling from there. _________________ Wedding Vow: I promise I will love you until the day you really p-ss me off. |

If he isn't breaking long ones, then I don't think you can say he's back to his old form. _________________

| He didn't break a long one in every game when it was at the top of his game, so the way he ran today looked like the old CJ. Hope he can keep it up for the rest of the season. |

This perception of CJ only having good games when he broke a long run is false. When he was on his game, he'd be good for 4-5 yards a pop easily, even if he didn't break one. _________________

The key is he had consistency in his running and his average YPC. _________________ Wedding Vow: I promise I will love you until the day you really p-ss me off. |

I'll say this much.... you could tell on the very first run that he actually came to play. First off, the hole was there for him to run through, but most importantly, he finished the run with his head down and legs pushing. He wasn't the flat footed, pessimistic Chris Johnson we've grown to oh-so-love.
It sucks that I benched him on my fantasy team today _________________ =) |

CJ ran very well yesterday. He found the holes and ran with determination which I loved to see. I'm cautiously optimstic about our run game after seeing gradual improvements in each game.
If there is any criticism I'd give CJ it's that when he gets into the open field, he can't seem to make anyone miss. I've seen him get tackled one on one in the open field multiple times. I believe that's the one thing that's holding CJ back from busting one for a 20+ yard game. |

I will say that if we can get that kind of CJ we can be ok.
We won't have CJ2k, but someone that can run. That would be nice...lol _________________ "I'm not locked in here with you. You locked in here with ME!" |

Week 4 CJ plus Week 3 Locker would be a very nice combination to have...
Throw in a Week 1-2, 2011 Britt...
Now on D... if only they could get consistent QB pressure and a couple of S's that could tackle... then maybe... just maybe we could get a nice run going... _________________
