Was nothing short of incredible. That was the definition of putting the team on your back. Keeping the morale up, making all the throws, making no mistakes(well, there was the fumble..but I'll let it slide, lol), keeping calm, cool and collected. He did it all today.

If today was a glimpse of what Jake Locker is going to be as a franchise QB, we're gonna be successful over the next 10-15 years. Very successful. Reminded me so much of Steve today, putting the team on his back when everything else was failing around him.

He's alot better than VY. I know that much! Locker is developing quite nicely. I think he had a few bad throws (the 1 to Nate Washington where he underthrew it) come to mind but that play resulted in a TD.

With that being said, I said in the GDT and I say now, 2 years from now Locker will be top 5.

Jake is the man, no doubt. Smart decisions, great runs with amazing speed, great accuracy.

The future is bright at QB!

He was the lone bright spot in the New England game, and he was the brightest spot in today's game.

He exceeded my expectations today. I've always had faith in him, but I did not think he was yet capable of moving the ball as consistently as he did today without the help of a running game. He did, and this game is HUGE for him going forward. We all know what he can do, it's just a matter of him getting to a point where he can do it week in and week out. I'm curious to see how he plays next week against a very stout Texans team.

Did Locker look as good as his stats suggest? His stats look phenomenal.

Factoring in leadership and poise under pressure he looked better than his stats suggest, IMO.

Best quarterback performance we have had since VY against the Cardinals.

Agreed. I can't imagine how good he'd be if he actually had a running game.

I'd say yes. His Nate TD pass was underthrown and a better CB intercepts it, but every QB gets a play like that now and again.

I was going to say that he is doing it without a running game too...

Add in the fact that Britt and Cook were gone most of the 2nd half....

I love Locker. Rough game last week, great this week.....
I hope he starts developing his consistency... That is my biggest concern with him...

I'm excited for the future....a running game would make us really exciting.

Jake is the man. I love his energy. He has his hands full with the Texans this week. If they can make fivehead look mortal yesterday, I hate to see what phillips has planned for Jake without a running game to protect him.

He reminds me so much of Brett Farve.

To be honest, and it's mostly because he's my quarterback and we've been burned from Collins and Young, but I'm scared to death every time he throws the ball Laughing

That being said, most of the time it ends up being amazing rather than amazingly terrible.

If he can cut down on the flat-out missed throws and miscues, he's going to be a great one.

This is me too. I hold my breath everytime he throws and it's because of VY and Collins. With VY you never knew where the ball was going to end up.
