Damn you RVM...almost beat you to this.
1.QB - Don't see how it can be anything else.
2. C - Our line rotation actually worked well but will it always, not having a back-up seems risky.
3. ILB - Belcher got toasted a couple of times
4. HC - time management falls on him
5. OC - horrible play calling today
This is all overshadowed by the biggest need of the NFL right now. Get the real Refs back please. _________________

Better Offensive Calling but that might be more on the QB since we did get 500 yards. |

1. QB - Cassel is bad. That INT should have lost us the game. Fortunately we had JC (and a great job by the OL on that play) to save it for us.
2. Common sense from the HC. Wasted 9 seconds waiting to call a TO at the end of the first half. Decided to quit trying to gain yards when we got to a 45 yard field goal at the end of regulation.
3. ILB - Belcher is still terrible in coverage and isn't a world beater on anything else
4. OL depth + consistency. I didn't watch them close enough to know who or what was the problem, but for much of the second half we did not get enough push. Charles only averaged 7 YPC with a 91 yard run. That's on the OL, not him.
5. TE/FB - TEs were non-existant for most the day, and Eachus is no FB. He plays hard and does what he can, but he isn't a FB even though he occasionally makes a good block. _________________

Look on the bright side boys. At least our team didn't go for it on 4th down and 1 in overtime when they could have kicked a field goal to tie...but not getting the 1st means you lost.
Horrible coaching by the Lions trumps our poor coaching. _________________

Qb. The need is still there.
Depth in general around the whole team. Look at the Giants. They are LOADED with depth from top to bottom. They lose Bradshaw and Nicks? Who cares. Imagine us playing the Panthers without Bowe and Charles? Ugh.
Everything else I am okay with for now. Yeah Romeo made some odd / bad calls with his timeouts etc but he also has to shake some rust off and with these refs, I could see our coaches losing their minds from time to time. _________________

I have thought we needed to draft a RB high for a while.
There are no spots on defense that NEED help, if everyone is health and returns in 2013. That is two big "ifs".
I like the idea of Lilja at C. His veteran presence would be felt there more than anywhere else. And at C is he is not always undersize. Future considerations aside, the OL looks good.
Baldwin made only 3 grabs, though one was huge. We need to see more of him.

No spots on D that need help? Depth at each defensive backfield position is a need, and know you said if, but I think it is fairly clear that we can't count on Lewis to stay healthy.
We could easily lose BOTH of our starting DEs, again I know you said if everyone returns, but depth at minimum would be a need.
Belcher could easily be upgraded. To call him serviceable is top-ending his value.
Another need I didn't think of earlier, a FB, and I mean a real flesh and blood fullback not a Pioli pet project ultra undersized trying to make a Danny Woodhead type of FB...hell bring back T-Rich...it'd be an upgrade but that would be too much like adding veteran leadership. _________________

Ummm they have a QB...that takes care of most offensive issues. Their CB depth didn't treat them too well against Dallas.
If we lost Bowe and Charles against the Panthers, we might struggle on offense...not for lack of weapons, but simply because of QB. _________________

Please understand the qualifier. Depth is always a need. There is no such thing as having enough. I am simply saying that, except NT, there are no positions on the defense that have a below average player starting. NT has been suitably addressed IMO. Poe is doing well and Toribio has yet to make his impact. I will disagree on Belcher. He is at least "servicable" and not a "need".
Since we are assuming healthy and contracts, your other points are moot.

I actually wanna see a line of T-Jax-Powe-Poe in the future
I saw it today and I liked it. _________________

This. Toribio could take Powe's spot too, but Poe is tailor made for being a dominating DE, it seems. I still love him at NT, but since we have some unexpected depth there and Dorsey has been playing worse than expected, I really like the idea of Poe at RE.
1. QB
2. HC/OC (horrible playcalling and clock management, but with a new QB, we probably wouldn't have this as a need since we'd be able to run routes longer than 10expected yards).
3. FB. Just move Hillis there and cut Eachus, already.
4. QB. Deseeves to be on here twice. _________________
