| Quote: | | The Redskins got a double dose of bad news Monday, as coach Mike Shanahan said that defensive end Adam Carriker and outside linebacker Brian Orakpo were both out for the season with injuries suffered Sunday. |
Ouch, that is going to really hurt that Defense!
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/09/17/jason-kelce-isnt-done-for-the-rest-of-the-season-just-yet/
| Quote: | Eagles center Jason Kelce suffered a serious right knee injury against the Ravens on Sunday.
The only question now is just how serious. Reports after the game were grim, saying Kelce would miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. The Eagles’ trainer spoke to the media on Monday, however, and said that nothing has been decided about Kelce’s status just yet. |
The team knows he has a torn MCL and a partial tear of the ACL, right now, he is out 6 weeks. He is scheduled for a scope to see the extend of damage to the ACL to determine if they shut him down for the year. _________________

Now, I can't believe that the Dirty Birds have found the way to be 2-0 with 9 turnovers! Unbelievable!
So, here is what it looks like in the NFC Beast
1. Beagles
2. Cowboys
3. Giants
4. Deadskins
There are currently 5 teams that are 2-0
There is only one team that is winless in the NFC, New Orleans. _________________

I tell ya, watching this Denver / Atlanta game, and after this fight that broke out, it reminds me that I dont think I have ever seen so much fighting in the NFL than what there has in the last 2 weeks.
By the way, Manning has 3 INT's in the first quarter alone. _________________

The turnover stats on the Eagles are scary. You can see a team turning the ball over and still beating Cleveland but not Baltimore. The law of averages will catch up to Philly if they continue to turn the ball over, however the opposite is true as well: If they learn to hold on to the ball how much better will they be? _________________ Northland |

Baltimore should have won that game. I don't know why, but they seemed to stop using Ray Rice late in the 4th and it cost them. _________________

I know I'm beating a dead horse here, but there was yet another phantom call by the refs that took away a Ravens TD in the game _________________

Golden Tate was fined $21,000 for his hit on Sean Lee. NOT a legal hit. _________________

Just stopped running his route, pass thrown to him and he's not there, and then gets an ear full from Sheli on the sideline! _________________

I don't care who the QB is. Vinny Testaverde could come back and rip a team apart if he was getting the time Eli Manning is getting tonight. He could stand back there and write a freaking book. Is the Panthers pass rush that bad or is the Giants Oline playing that good? _________________

While we rip Bennett we can't deny he is off to a good start. Long term who knows but he has had a solid beginning to his Giant career. _________________ Northland |
