Witten, Garrett and O-line were terrible. They ran the ball on first down almost every play.... for no yards. Why no hurry up to snap after the first fumble? Why no hurry up to snap after the second fumble? Both terrible. Why are they passing the ball when they should be running at the end to run out the clock? Why did Murray run out of bounds on back to back plays when trying to run out the clock?
This defense is outstanding... especially with all the injuries... however, Barry Church has a ruptured achilles. |

Game Ball - The defence. They rebounded after a tough outing last week. The secondary was terrific.
Jock Straps - Jason Garrett - the team remains undisciplined and came out flat and ill-prepared. And where's the playaction to buy the OL some time? And once again abandoned the run after the first quarter. These issues fall on the head coach who doubles as an ineffective offensive coordinator.
Jason Witten - drops and penalties.
OL - Struggling in all facets of the game. Almost got Romo knocked out for good with their inability to pass protect. _________________

GB - the defense!
JS - Garrett - how can you not pull a guy for even a few plays after they play as poorly as Free & Witten? Talk about sending a message to your team. Garrett needs to grow a pair & bencha guy who plays that bad! |

GB: I'll go with Rob Ryan. He called a great game. He had the defense ready to play and kept them motivated even when offense repeatedly put them in bad positions.
JS: I don't even know where to start. I have never seen such an undisciplined offense in all of my life. Holds, false starts, delay of games, drops. I saw a play today where romo got practically sandwhiched on a 3 man rush. I saw a running game that stood no chance because 2-3 defenders were in the backfield at the point of 90% of the handoffs. I saw another punt block situation where the cowboys got beyond lucky. I don't know if Garrett can't coach the stupid out of these guys or if the OL just lacks talent to the point that coaching is irrelevant.
This much I do know, if a Dallas cowboys fan uttered either of these 2 sentiments 1) Jerry addressed the OL by bringing in burninduece and livings, or 2) the OL will be fine because we brought in Callahan... Your probably not very smart. _________________ Quote from May 7, 2013...

Game Ball: Romo for taking the beating. Defense esp. Ware, Jenkins (shocker)
JS: Whole O-line, Garrett for just not managing the game right. Playcalling was very suspect. |

A lot of guys on Defense deserve a game ball but who was it on the Bucs #1 receiver Jackson all day? he only had that 1 catch late in the game.. was that Claiborne.. i know Claiborne had him much of the day but not sure he had him exclusively.. either way, GB to the DB unit!
The Offensive Line is going to be this teams downfall. I am not confident they can get much better as the year goes on.. i hope they do but not confident they will. So, JS goes to the OLine.. argh! This could get routine. |

The only pass he caught was against Scandrick - which is like an 8-10" advantage and nearly 70lb advantage for Vincent _________________

GB goes to the defense for ultimately saving the game.
JS goes to Callahan for the OL he has mis-coached. |

Do you really think that's fair to blame Callahan? The guy doesn't have much to work with here. That's kinda like blaming the director when Matts midget fetish movie flopped. You can only do so much with the talent that your given. _________________ Quote from May 7, 2013...

That's kind of what I was thinking. How exactly has Callahan 'mis-coached' these guys? it's Nate Livings, Ryan Cook, Bernadeau, Doug Free, and Tyron Smith. Not exactly an all star team. If it were SF with Iupati, Joe Staley, and Anthony Davis, and they were doing this badly then maybe you could say "hey this line has talent, maybe it's the coaches fault" but with the patchwork line that we have, it's hard to blame anything but the patches. _________________
