5. David Veikune 2nd
0 stats in 10 games
vs.
12. Montario Hardesty 2nd
266 yards rushing 3.0 average in 3 seasons
We traded up for Montario Hardesty who was known to have knee issues before the draft and has continued that into the NFL. He has never shown burst, power, vision or anything really in the NFL.
David Veikune was projected by most every to be a 4th round pick at the very best. Supposedly New England and I believe Chicago wanted him with their 2nd round picks(I don't believe it) but we took him in the 2nd and he was awful from the start. He looked like a practice squad player against career backups, journeymen and tryout free agents.
As bad as Hardesty has looked and even though we had to give up more to get him my vote goes to David Veikune.

Veikune is definitely my pick here...
but Hardesty is NOT too far behind at this point. |

Veikune easily
He never contributed to anything, even special teams. I don't even know if he stepped foot on the field.

| Hardesty lucks out in this matchup, Veikune might be my number 1 bust overall. Yet somehow I still feel disappointed that Hardesty's epic suck is gonna go unrecognized because of his matchup with one of the few bigger failures. |

You can't pair up all the best, or in this case the worst, in the 1st round. That like playing all the 1 seeds against each other and the 16s against each other in the NCAA tourney.
