I'm so tired of the whole Eli "clutch" thing. If he wasn't so terrible in the beginning of games, he wouldn't have to be clutch.

No such thing as "clutch". Sometimes you win sometimes you lose simple as that. Its Brady I can't believe this is even an argument. _________________

firstly, Eli is rarely terrible in the beginning of game
secondly, since 2011, Eli is the best QB in the NFL in the 4th quarter(yards, comebacks,TD,QB rating, etc) _________________

Rarely? Im a giants fan and i disagree with that. Eli does have the tendency to make those WTF throws. But he has cut down on them lately. _________________

Okay, since I can't find career splits, we'll settle for 2011. Eli's QB rating in the second half was 103, which is great, definitely. In the first half, it was 83.2, which is, at best, average. His "clutchness" sticks out so much because of how much his late game play often contrasts his early game play.
Hell, this year, he has a QB rating of 133 in the 4th quarter, which is, admittedly, ridiculous. It would be much more impressive if not for his QB rating of 79 in the first half. _________________

ok, it's true that Eli is not always very good in the beginning of his game, but nobody can deny that Manning is unbelievable in the 4th quarter since 2011 _________________

Clutch doesn't exist. Give me Brady. _________________ Geno Smith, Tavon Austin, Stedman Bailey, and Bruce Irvin will all have at least 1 pro bowl season each by the end of the decade.

Give me Thomas. I'm still shakey on whether Eli can put together back-to-back seasons even though Eli at his best is nothing short of spectacular.

Question for the people picking Brady: Why do you think Eli has been better in the playoffs as of late? Pure chance?

I would still go with Tom Brady. It's very close though. _________________ Mmmm...Sacrelicious! |

There's 16 votes for luck, for shame. Brady is unquestionably the QB you take. A Welker drop and a ball caught on the head doesn't change that.

It depends on the offense you plan on running, and who you are surrounding each QB with for the game. With Gilbride's offense I'd definitely rather have Eli. Brady never really had a tremendous arm, and at this point in his career Eli is a better deep passer. I don't think Brady's numbers would be so pretty if he was asked to stretch the field like Eli is in this offense. Brady's job is basically to make the correct read, make the quick and often times very easy throw, and let the talent of Gronkowski, Hernandez and Welker take over. Like Brees, Brady is a basically a dink and dunk quarterback. _________________
