I'm not a huge fan of that rule. I understand the reasoning behind it but I wish the league wasn't getting so soft. _________________

That seems like a rather random amount for a fine doesn't it? Why not just round it to $7500 or $8000? Is it percentage of salary based or something? _________________

Eh, he got him with a forearm to the face. I don't mind the fine. _________________

A lot of these fines are getting ridiculous. I said it last year and they are keeping the trend going. Fines should be for blatant dirty plays. This and things like Golden Tate's block don't deserve fines. I am really not a fan of Goodell. _________________

I believe it's a 5% increase from last year. So if this happened a year ago it would have been a $7500 fine, but now each year fines go up 5%. _________________

It's hilarious that Wendling was fined $7,875 for his hit on Alex Smith. Why? Well because....
Alex Smith was fined $15,000 for wearing a SF giants hat during a press conference.
Tarell Brown (SF CB) was fined $5,250 for wearing the wrong color undershirt under his uniform (red instead of white).
Josh Morgan was fined $7,875 for throwing the ball at Finnegan.
The NFL is going a bit overboard. _________________

Let's not forget that 100% of these fines go to a charity. _________________
