I was just thinking back about the draft and how certain players didn't exactly work out.
Who's that one player you wished would have reached their potential.
Me it was Aaron Rouse, I think that was his name. Think the Safety from Seattle, Kam Chandellor? Same. Size. Speed ratio and. Both came from VT. It would have been an extreme help with the TE. Movement in full effect.
Sorry about the periods. The phone is acting up. _________________

Good thread. I was really hoping Brandon Jackson and Samkon Gado would have worked out. _________________

Justin Harrell. That guy just couldn't catch a break. Worked hard, had a good attitude, played pretty well but just kept getting hurt. _________________ GO PACK GO!

Thompson was the first one that popped into my head. Curious if we would need Perry if we had Thompson. Dude seemed like a better fit for 34olber than 43end. _________________

Sad story, I just hope he saved his money and can live a normal life. I wish GB fans would have been more welcoming to him. |

Definitely Justin Harrell. Good guy, amazing talent, just could catch a break with injuries.
Terrence Murphy too _________________

Sterling Sharpe.
I know you say "but he was an all-pro!" Yes, but for a very, very brief time. If his career "panned out" and he didn't get that neck injury, he would have been discussed as an all-time great instead of a Packer great. Would have gotten a ring too. _________________

Joey Thomas
Kenny Peterson
I had the chance to meet both one on one, when they were new in Green Bay. Both friendly, intelligent, and just in general, "Packer People". Unfortunately their play on the field didn't measure up, but I was rooting hard for them the whole time they were in Green Bay. _________________

I always go back to Harrell and Murphy. I also wished things worked out differently for Torrence Marshall. One of the Biggest dumb@$$ I ever saw in a uniform, but man, you had all the makings of a tremendous LBer if he would have put it together.
I had always hoped for better things for Hentrich in GREEN BAY too.
Am I the only one that wished hometown boy Randy Wright would have become a solid QB in his time too? |
