We should be able to give Luck all he can handle in his first home game.
Jared Allen, Chris Cook, and Erin Henderson will be key in this game. We really need these guys to have big games this week.
Other than that, we need to just play like we did today. Smart, ADJUSTING Defense, and an offense that features its playmakers.
Another tough test for Ponder though. Hope he's up for it. He has plenty of arm and accuracy. His biggest question mark will be decision making. _________________

Andrew Luck looked as good as advertised today. The stats won't show it but his poise and the speed with which he diagnoses a play is amazing. Reggie Wayne might have a Steve Smith like renaissance this year. The Colts have a weak offensive line, so I'm hoping that they can take advantage of him early on, but he gets rid of the ball so quickly. _________________

Really not a lot of info out there on Castanzo, hard to say.
Common theme for the year, the pass rush is going to have to crank it up a notch next week. Indy has some weapons to contend with and guys who could kill the Vikes underneath. Luck is a very good athlete and has the ability to escape the rush.
The Colts defense does not impress me at all. If they can manage the pass rush of Freeney and Mathis (is Freeney out?) I think there are a lot of matchups across the board they could look to exploit. I hope MN can use this game to really get the ground game going and hopefully feed off of it with the playaction going to Percy or Rudolph. |

Another VERY winnable game for us. Excited for next Sunday already! If they can get Rudolph, AP, and Percy the ball like they did today, we should be fine on offense. The colts D is extremely weak and Ponder should be able to put the ball in the endzone more than once this week. I think our D will do just fine! The D-line will put plenty of pressure on Luck. _________________

Vikings defensive line is going to dominate during the next two weeks.

As long as we feed the rock early and often to AD and Harvin, I think we can win this game, too. And if you start 2-0, things begin to look up, and who knows where that will take your team. Just have to keep your nose to the grindstone and solidify that good start to the season. _________________

Just saw that Andrew Luck passed the ball 45 times today, compared to just 15 rushes. Lots of opportunities for our pass rush, and should be a good test for our secondary. _________________

This is assuming MN is able to score points like chicago was able too. if the game is close throughout, the Colts wont have to become one dimensional. |

True, but I don't think Donald Brown will ever be a 25 carry kind of back. Sure he might get closer to 15 (9 today), but passing game will be a definite focus. _________________

After watching highlights of Luck and RG III today, I'm not certain those guys are really rookies
All things considered, the Colts should be a win -- but this is at their house, so if the Vikes can control the ball and keep the D fresh, I like the chances of winning. |

Going to be a very slow week as far as discussions with Colts fans go. Very few of them on this site. _________________
