Which part?
It's amazing that a backup CB and backup S can look that bad at the exact same time. That is impressive. _________________

Don't try to take anything away from that catch. If that was Megatron, it would be all over ESPN and being talked about as the catch of the year and possibly more. I don't give a damn who it was against. You can only play against what the other team puts out there. _________________

The catch in general just seems like a magic trick. The best part is where the DB is looking for Nate like he disappeared. Some globetrotter shiz. _________________

I'm sorry but that would have been an amazing catch even if it was made over me. Regardless of who is there that is a fantastic grab. _________________

Using a ton of short, quick passes and play-action to slow down the pass rush while also taking a few well-timed throws down field was the exact way we needed to approach this game and was the key to Locker's success. Yes, it wasn't exactly rocket science, but to go up against that defensive line with the way our offensive line has blocked thus far and walk away without a single sack while throwing for 380 yards. |
I don't understand why Chris Palmer has been getting all this criticism in the first place. He's done absolute wonders for our passing game. Over the next couple of years we could be witness to the best passing attack Nashville has ever seen. The running game is lackluster, yes, but it's not all on Palmer...we just have a severe lack of talent in key places.
Honestly, his playcalling was fine in the Pats and Chargers game too. He called a hell of a game yesterday except for going back to CJ in overtime too much and putting us in a hole. _________________

It's a good catch for sure. I wouldn't argue otherwise. Please, don't think that my comment was in any way bitter or negative. It really wasn't.
I was just pointing out how incredibly terrible the defense was on that play. Seriously: how is a CB in the NFL that confused, and what the hell was Wendling doing? That's... insane. It reminds me a lot of that Dallas Cowboys linemen on that legendary Barry Sanders run who is just standing there, looking around, as Sanders runs by him. It's crazy.
(I have been a huge supporter of Wendling, hoping he could step in for Delmas and prove to be a viable option down the road. His angle on that play was shocking bad, and his little hop-and-slap was just ridiculous.)
Not taking anything away from Washington, or you guys. Just talking about the video. _________________

As near as I can tell, he's coming over to swat away a fruit fly that had meandered onto the field of play. It's the only explanation that makes sense.
Amazing acrobatic catch by Nate. Just... wow. _________________

Seriously, though. That's pretty much the only reasonable suggestion, because he wasn't remotely close to doing anything else.
In terms of "Pulling a Griffin", was it a job well done? Was it lacking? On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being "The ball was close" and 10 being "How did they trade for - and start - Griffin in one game?", where does that rank? _________________

On a scale of 1-10 it's Griffin. He's below average to bad in coverage and ranks Shawn Merriman off the juice on the tackling meter. _________________

Oh, I am so stealing that.
At work: "Dude, you really Griffin'd that! Way to go!"
At home: "Sorry dear, I'm such a Griffin"
On garbage pickup day: "Time to take out the Griffin"
