| Ok, the Reggie McKenzie gig was cute for a little bit, but this? This? This is war!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First Brandon Underwood and Pat Lee, and now, now they got themselves an all out war. |

Pretty much my only two thoughts on this one. Good luck to him and Raider Nation. _________________

Agreed. With House, Shields, and Hayward all being young, promising DBs ahead of Ross, there probably wasn't much of a future for him in Green Bay.
Oakland, however, is a different story. |

Oakland, however, is a different story. | Tray, Shields, House and Hayward are all strongly ahead of him for years to come. Not to mention any high draft picks in the coming years. Good move by him to accept going to Oakland and trying to get some playing time there because it wasn't going to come in GB. Wish him luck like i do with almost all former Packers. _________________

You can take our 2nd round busts, our 6th round scrubs, but you will NOT steal the gems off our practice squaddddd!!! |

He can hang with a receiver pretty well, but he has no field awareness and not very good ball skills. He gets caught with his head looking back at the receiver instead of where the ball is a lot. |

He is a nobody. Out of the league within 2 years. Try-hard with descent physical skills but CFL talent. _________________

That's encouraging
So he's basically Demarcus Van Dyke, great. _________________

He's more of a battler than DVD though, and he's much better in press and man coverage than zone.
I don't think he'll be out of the league in a few years, but I don't think he's a budding superstar. Ball skills are a question mark though.
You can definitely do a lot worse picking DBs off of people's practice squads. |

I would say the ex Packer Underwood is a much better comparison. Ross has the mental side down a good bit more than Underwood ever did though. But that's his game for the most part. Same body type also. _________________
