Frustrating for sure. I'm waiting anxiously to hear more details. I guess I am hoping it has more to do with the fact that he couldn't get up to speed given the short week. I know he was hobbled after that last play that set up the winning TD. We need him on the field in a major way. Lets just pray its a one week deal. _________________ W O R L D C H A M P I O N S '86, '90, '07, '11 |

Wouldn't it be something to get out there and go old school and really commit to the run game early and often? Who knows if Brown can be a legit workhorse or just a flash in the pan, but I would not mind at all if we just let him eat the rock consistently, at least for the first few series. It goes without saying that if we can come up with any semblance of a running game, think about how much more dangerous that makes Eli. _________________

I think the Giants are favored but could see it going either way. Don't thing Carolina has the secondary to hold down Bucks and Cruz though _________________

| CWeb has always played well vs smaller WRs and struggled with big guys. Lets hope we put him primarily on Smith to see if he bounces back after the last few bad week. |

with nicks out looking alot toward cruz to handle the catches ... And with Ahmad out its going to be a struggle.
Cam bounced back from week one and looked pretty good last sunday.
Not sure if we will be able to win this one and thats why Ive got the panthers winning 17-10 _________________

Gonna watch the game with my brother and cousin at a bar... which is rare for me. Typically I like to be home because I get a little too animated and say profane things when I'm watching the Giants. However, my brother doesn't have NFL Network so he can't watch it at his place. So I figured we would turn this negative into a positive and get together with our cousin, a Raiders fan, who is an all around good time. He turned us on to a bar in the area that has happy hour all night Thursday, which most importantly includes 1/2 price craft beers. I also don't have to be in to work until 930/10 tomorrow, so I might have to tie one on.

The optimist in me wants to say that this is a turning point game for the Giants because we all know they haven't played up to their ability this season. The new blood plays their hearts out and the team comes together giving us depth we didn't know we had.
Giants win 35-13.
Or they come out and fall flat on their face, the Giants struggle, and the rest of the season looks grim.
Giants lose 28-17. _________________

I really hope your optimistic side is correct then. _________________

http://www.giants101.com/2012/09/20/is-injury-to-new-york-giants-david-diehl-a-blessing-in-disguise/
| Quote: | The Giants actually won a game this Sunday with the help of their offensive line, not despite it. The resurgence occurred immediately after David Diehl went down. Diehl's decline has been well noted by his detractors, and his time as a starter in the NFL may be over. At least for not, Sean Locklear seems to have supplanted him
Although seeing a veteran who has been apart of two Super Bowl championships get hurt is almost gut wrenching, the Giants may actually benefit from Diehl's injury. On an offensive line that appears to have aged a lot since a year ago, the addition of Will Beatty provided a spark that we didn't see since he went down last season. While Diehl's versatility still merits a spot on the roster, his injury may have allowed the Giants to finally put their best five offensive linemen on the field.
