Hey, that's great! The scary thing is that it's rather likely to happen... Care to guess which one of ours will intercept it?

This game is feeling just a little bit too safe for me not to think something bad will happen.

yes, very much so. it's a real prediction.
we'll be behind in points
Ponder will have to throw
our receivers can't get open
our o-line gives average at best protection
Ponder can get in the mindset of he has to make things happen, and forces throws
add in your aggressive defense, and you have... voila! interceptions. _________________

Kapernick scores 2 TDs
(Alex is obviously pulled at the half due to the monster lead we have built up) |

Ooooh, I can play
Now VD, you be nice to these guys . . . & I see you're being consoling . . . lol.
As for predictions . . . yeah, I can agree Ponder will throw an INT . .. so will Smith, snapping his run of passes without an int.
I would love to predict that Adrian goes off like he did against the Chargers back when their D was as vaunted as this 49ers D is -- but I ain't stupid! I'm hoping he makes it through the game in one piece.
My feel good prediction - Jared Allen gets back on track with 3 sacks. |

The Vikings always play to the opponents skill level. This will be close.
Niners 28
Vikings 20
Christian Ponder throws for over 300 Yards, 2 TD 2 Int
Kyle Rudolph catches both touchdowns.
Adrian and Toby struggle to gain yards. |

I think the score is going to be something like 20-7 in favour of the 49ers.
It will be interesting to see what the two defences do. Especially in terms of blitzing their defensive backs. Last year Christian Ponder struggled mightily against the corner blitz and for some reason the Jags and Colts did not blitz their CBs very much against him — and they dropped into a soft zone for the entire game. Which is kind of the opposite of what you want to do against this offence: get in Ponder's face and take away the easy underneath routes to Harvin and Rudolph.
As for the Vikings defence, Leslie Frazier has taken more direct control over the defence this year, and I would not be surprised if the Vikings tried some exotic blitzes this week. The 49ers running game is going to be a challenge for the Front 7 though. _________________

Alex smith goes off 300+ 4 TDs, everyone says its one game, its the Vikings, hes a game manager
Alex Smith plays well 225+ yards 2 TDs everyone calls him a game manager. He cant throw deep he should have thrown more
Alex Smith plays bad 100 0 TDs 2 Ints change the QB hes awful, hes holding the team back from a super bowl. Put in Kaep. Go into rebuild mode.
Alex Smith doesnt play, hes holding the the team back, hes not clutch. Seahawks cardinals division to lose.

First TD goes to VD
2nd TD Kendall runs it in
Vikes throw pick 9ers get field goal
9ers score again (FG) after a vikes drive that yields 3 points
9ers take the end of the 3rd quarter/start of 4th off and vikings score a TD and field goal.
Gore runs it in for the dagger.
Not really bold. That's just how 9er games go. _________________

Adrian Peterson reminds the world who the best running back alive is.
For real, I am expecting a HUGE game from Adrian Peterson. Like 200 yards. _________________
