He looked just as bad at the start of the year. After the bye week, he's been great. I think Zimmer knew exactly what he had in Newman and now that he's comfortable in the system, he's playing well. The D-Line doing a better job of getting pressure helps too.
Still it wouldn't surprise me to see Newman revert back and get burnt...

Two things, why did Nate Clements only play one snap and no Kirkpatrick? Also, looks like no one was too bad but nothing great either.

Clements is the backup S and 4th corner I believe. Also Kirk gotta concussion on a punt so he was out. He likely won't see much time with everyone healthy

Sucks Clements got demoted when he was playing better before his injury.

Clements looked like he hurt his wrist pretty bad last game, not surprised he only played 1 snap. Our coverage was good on the outside for the most part but short passes and WR screens killed us...

My guess is that they limited Nate this past game to make sure he is ready to cover Whitten this week.

I didn't think Lawson looked all that bad in coverage. I saw him a few snaps on Witten and he did fine. Burfict is a nice surprise for you guys, but right now he struggles in coverage big time.
