They all looked very good... again. Dre gave up a few in front of him, but noone came close to going by any of the Cbs. Losing Bowe and baldwin will do that to a team. _________________

Even before Bowe went out they only threw to him 2 times I believe and had 0 catches. Very well played _________________

Did anyone else hear the call by Rich Gannon, where he said we had the best roster of CB's in the league ?
Anyone buying it ? _________________ " I imagine that in Paul McCartneys' house, he must have a shelf with the 12+ great 'Beatles' studio albums neatly stacked. At times, he must rock back in a chair, light a cigar and say to himself, '....not bad for a life's work......' " |

They played lights out the last two weeks. They also did better than I expected against Peyton Manning. Have to get credit to Terence Newman, since the bye he's played great.
Not sure about best though. Hopefully they (And the D-Line) can keep it up... _________________

I heard it and my immediate response was deepest roster, but not the best. _________________

So when did this secondary become the best in the league?
Why did Bowe only have one target? Hall is getting back to form fellas. Nate Clements isn't getting targeted deep which means he is still LOCKDOWN . _________________

Terence Newman, shutdown corner. Mike Zimmer is a wizard.
Clements has really adapted to the safety role well (sans a couple of bad angles in run support). Although he looked like he got hurt yesterday. I really hope it's not serious but it looked like a wrist injury... _________________

Newman has been a surprise as he is playing much better than he did last year. I mean he hasn't played great, but not a liability as of late.
Next week should be a win against the Raiders but I am worried about DHB's and Moore's speed against Newman. _________________

I'm worried about their speed vs all our corners. We need a game like the Giants out of our D line to make sure they can't get deep. _________________

Yep, I mean who wants to lose to Carson Palmer though? Tell Geno to unleash on him and the speed will not be a factor. _________________

Kirkpatrick is better in man or zone? _________________

Dre was much better in man in college. In the NFL we haven't seen yet to say, still getting his feet wet... _________________

Yeah, I heard some say he'd be better in a cover 2, but I've always seen him as an potential stud press coverage CB. _________________

How about that 34 year old stud you guys got? Crazy how a different situation and some confidence can effect someone's play. Also being "healthy" helps but I am skeptical if Newman actually ever is healthy. _________________ Favorite Teams
