I don't think anyone is saying that. What we are saying, is he is not the most elusive Quarterback the game has ever known. What has he done to show this? | Bo_Spice said that if he were more elusive he would be a first round pick. |
Which of course is just goofy. If he were able to throw the football effectively he'd be a first round pick. _________________

No and No, even if he had accuracy, he still doesn't know how to read defenses... nor does he have touch, he would throw like 6 picks vs a team like Pittsburgh who cleverly disguises their defense
He would have 20 picks by midseason _________________ Murray State University Alum: Go Racers

I'm not sure he would. He's short, doesn't have a history of making great decisions and isn't a greatly polished passer. Being accurate wouldn't account for all of those things.
Now, some team could have become enamored with his athletic ability and drafted him late in the first, but I wouldn't guarantee it. _________________

Our new regime is nothing like what it was when Al Davis was running things. _________________

Sadly, this takes 50% out of the fun out of draft day for me... _________________

| For what it's worth Michigan seems to have invented the position of Slot Quarterback today, and he's starting at it. |

Which is why I said what I said, and didn't specify accuracy....
Reading comprehension.
Also, if you watched today, Michigan lining Denard up at RB, which is what I've called the guy all along. _________________

I made this thread over a year ago
"Denard Robinson The Perfect NFL Wildcat?"
| PowerElite wrote: | All of the facts about the wildcat are now on the table. People know that it needs two elements to be successful: 1.a runner that can carry the ball between the tackles 2.having enough passing ability to make the cornerbacks HAVE to defend the receivers instead of attacking the line of scrimmage. The average football fan is just of the mindset that it's a completely worthless offense without first examining the necessary elements to make it work. IMO it should only be a situational short yardage and goaline offense.
Denard Robinson has the ability to carry the ball between the tackles, break tackles, throw the ball downfield, turn the corner, and most importantly he has the game breaking speed and running instincts that make it even worthwhile to put him in the wildcat position.
I see him potentially being a short yardage force on the next level with the ability to make teams pay by delivering the ball downfield. |
