I accept this as plausible. I mean, c'mon, how hard could it be to procure a cadaver leg with a Lisfranc injury, then conceal it on his person, and when it's time to take the MRI, fold your own leg under your quad and put the fake leg in its place?

The theory breaks down when the doctor sees the MRI and asks why you smell like formaldehyde, and why your leg is not attached to your body
