They should cut him.
i wouldn't sign him either. |
Wasn't exactly going there, but it was surprising _________________

So after ALL that squabble about Brandon Graham in this thread he goes out has a registered sack, forced fumble, recovery, and single handedly gave our team life in one play _________________

So yesterday was the first time I got to watch your fine organization play since the game versus the Giants. Since I know you guys value my opinion so much, I thought I'd share some of my thoughts on the Eagles.
The offensive line play last night was the worst I have seen since... well... ever. I know there are injuries on the line and all, but isn't gray beard supposed to be some sort of offensive line genius? Dallas Reynolds? You know why this guy is on your team? He's from BYU. I think you can connect the dots yourself. Demetress Bell got a 30 million dollar contract to sign with the Eagles, and he can't even play RT. At this point, there is no use throwing Foles to the wolves. He wouldn't last a game behind that offensive line.
I have to commend Vick on his toughness. He got plastered and kept getting up. And for the most part, he didn't get too antsy, so props to him for that. However, does he understand the concept of a hot read? If there is a free rusher, get rid of the ball immediately. It's a concept that a 32 year old "QB" should understand. The Giants don't have the greatest offensive line in the league, but haven't given up much sacks. Why? Because Eli gets rid of the ball in a timely manner.
Andy Reid's fascination with undersized players is amusing. I really think he drafts undersized players because he wants to be bigger than everyone on his roster. The saints offensive line had their way with the Eagles front seven. I don't think there is a single player on the Eagles front seven that is capable of shedding a block.
I think Reid is gone after the season. It's really a bitter sweet feeling for me as a Giants fan. On one hand, he has always had a competitive team that has certainly had the Giants number, so I'm glad he's leaving. However, he never won a Superbowl and the way he trolls Eagles fans makes me envious, so I'm sad he's leaving.
The media's fascination with the Eagles was embarrassing. I never understood all the "they're so young and talented" comments. Looking around your roster, the Eagles need to go into a rebuilding mode. I think it needs to start in both trenches. The offensive line needs to be built with more athleticism, and the defensive line needs to be built with more size.
Anyway, those are my thoughts. _________________

Gmen isn't saying anything new.
And I don't say that with any negative connotations. _________________

| I know you guys are probably beat to death talking about this, but wouldn't you think if you have a bad pass blocking Oline, Reid would run more with Shady, and try to keep games close that way, or is it just not in Reid's DNA to run more than 20 times? At least Murray is hurt, and all we have is suckwad Felix, who runs into his own lineman's arse. |

The Eagles are 10-1 in games where McCoy gets 20+ carries during his 3 year career.. Coincidence? I think not. _________________

You would think it would be that simple, but running the ball is like making Reid eating his vegetables - it'll be good for him, but for some reason he never does _________________

What about King Dunlap or Dennis Kelly? _________________

Obviously not everyone, but 2 of 53 is a crappy percentage. But Reid is wider than those two, that is for sure. _________________

Maybe that's why they stopped when McCoy had 19 carries on MNF. _________________

Seriously. I went and checked the box score right after I posted that, and sure enough, 19 carries only. _________________

Andy Reid is our HC. Marty Morningweig is our OC. They think "Hey, they thing we're going to run the ball, lets throw it 40 times and run less than 10!" "Yea Andy! I'll draw up the script, you get the cheesesteaks!" _________________
