He's probably the best one our team with that. But I agree that Cobb will be our best game plan. We run the offense through him this week and we'll have a pretty good shot at some lengthy drives.
And for everyone else...saying "All we have to do is stop Aaron Rodgers" is easy. Actually doing it has driven many a DC mad.
Not saying it can't happen. It's just not that simple. _________________

You are going to shutdown Jordy, Jennings, and Finley? I doubt it. Two of top three will probably have around 100 yards IMO. Nelson is pretty good against press, he knows how to use his body better than any WR in the NFL IMO. That's his best attribute _________________

| Isn't Finley really streaky and not very reliable? I remember having him last year in fantasy and he would have a bunch of games where he would do basically nothing and then he would have weeks where he would put up a bunch of points. |

Never said it was simple, just said that's all we have to do!, Your running game is weak... and your defense has given up an avg. of 140yds rushing per game.. _________________ Adopt-a-Hawk

Will be heading down to this game with 3 friends who are Seahawk fans. I'm hoping for a good game but I'd enjoy it more if we came out on top |

Richard Sherman has been boss this season. He shut down Larry Fitz and Dez Bryant when he was covering them. I don't expect a big game out of Greg Jennings or whoever is playing against him.
Kam Chancellor will cover Finley. He was a rookie when we last played in the pre-season. He is great against the athletic TE's, because he as LB size and DB speed. I wanna hope that he can take abuse, because Kam punishes whoever he covers.
I'm unsure about Brandon Browner though. He can get beaten on double moves (he got beat by Miles Austin last week), but he is also a very very physical guy. He won't be able to make any jump balls, that's for sure.
It comes down to Randall Cobb. Our weakness is covering the slot receiver. Cobb looks like a quality slot guy, and I expect him to be key on 3rd downs. _________________

I'll just call it now, Finley has a huge game. The team used KJ to cover Witten and he could barely do that. Finley is way more of an athlete and we always struggle against the TE position. He leads the Packers in offense on Monday. _________________

I'll also call this. Golden Tate has his best game in his career. An absolute coming out party as the Packers focus on Lynch and Rice. He'll likely be guarded by Bush, who is a pretty poor coverage corner. He's the type of guy that can't cover Tate. We saw last week that Wilson looked for him a lot. Had he led Tate on that one deep pass, Golden would've had a career day. _________________

I'd actually expect him to be covered by Shields or even House if he plays this week. Bush started week one, but was pretty much benched week 2. Shields definitely has the speed to cover Tate, but is not overly physical. _________________

Does he have the athleticism to cover Tate? Because he's shifty and has crazy ups. I just figured it'd be Bush since we're a more run-oriented team and he's the better run defender. _________________

On that note, I hope that Pete sets some runs towards him. Golden is a good blocker for his size. _________________

*SIGN-UP HERE FOR THE 1ST SEAHAWKS GAMEDAY CHALLENGE*
We're going to start an inter-forum challenge based off of statistics for the game. It'll likely be a different challenge each week, but for this week I was thinking of having everyone post who they believe is going to be the best offensive player of the day, and post your prediction of their stats, and the best defensive players of the day, and post your prediction of his stats. And try to post your reasoning.
Example:
| Quote: | Offensive: Russell Wilson
21/29 72% Completion
234 Passing Yards
37 Rushing Yards
2 Total TDs
Defensive: Kam Chancellor
8 Tackles
2 PDs
1 INT
1 FF |
^ And those are my actual predictions ^
I think Russell has his best game yet as the Packers disrespect the passing game.
Also think Kam has another huge game on primetime and shows the world he's now the best SS in the NFL.
---------------------------------
Anyways, as soon as you post your predictions I'll add your name to the sign-up list! Nothing else needed. I'll keep track of points each week. If you guess the players stats close enough and he IS the best player on his side of the ball, you get 3 points. If you guess the stats close but he's not the player of the game on that side of the ball, you get 1 point.
Let me know if you guys have any other suggestions. I'm just kinda winging it.

Yea, I hope we use Braylon more too. He was invisible last week. _________________
