Pretty much nailed it, SoCal. Too depressed to give a proper smiley now... |
Everything except for Alex not playing well. Me and you both know very well that Alex NEVER has a bad game. _________________

I figured out why we lost. What was different from this game and the last two?
Well besides horrible offense, defense, play calling, and execution?
Nobody had a bloody nose this week.
Week 1 - Staley nose bleed - win
Week 2 - Alex nose bleed - win
Week 3 - Clean noses - loss
Someone's going to have to bust their nose next week. _________________

I think at least a few refs are due for a bloody nose. I wonder if that will count? _________________

wakeup call to our team. We'll rebound next week against the Jets(If we somehow lose this one, idk what to say).
Gore should have easily had 100+yards. We all know that if you don't pressure the QB, you won't win. _________________

Welp, need to get this game out of our mind ASAP. Come on SoCal, make the next GDT for the Jets game LOL.
The first drive our defense had a chance to set the tone but opposite happened and that's all she wrote.............................. _________________

I went to this game and I am going to be ticked if people are blaming Moss for anything. The first two plays he was in, he ran the same route and was wide open on both. It's a very simple throw and Smith couldn't make it, but it did hit the very tip of his hands, so maybe he's being criticized for a drop on that very late throw...
Smith also missed Crabtree running WIDE OPEN deep behind two defenders for what would have been a 50 yard Touchdown. Crabtree appeared upset after the drive (capped with the Davis TD), and actually had a few people try to pump him up on the sidelines. Smith needs some confidence in his long ball.
On the play where Smith threw an INT, Moss was wide open on the other side of the field for a 10 yard out. Again failing to go through his progressions. And, why is it he can't keep his eyes downfield when scrambling? And how did he miss the Touchdown pass... Ugh.
As for everything else, I'm very happy with how my Vikings played. _________________

Alex left a lot out there too. His passes sailed way too much for my liking, obviously Moss didn't try very hard during that tipped pass that would have resulted in a 1st. Pressure was in his face all day and he couldn't step in to his throws. Overall he didn't look comfortable all day, as did our entire offense. . |
Thrown about 7 seconds too late. Moss sat down in the middle of the field and the pass sailed. It isn't easy to go from 100 to 0 to 100 in a short period of time. _________________

honestly, deserve to lose. stupid coaching decisions |
cant get over this.
what are they thinking?
your coaches are neutrilizing your best deep threat, not the defense. so dumb |
Did you miss the beginning of the game? Drop and no effort from Moss on two passes. |
drops happen, no effort ? |
Didn't jump for the drop, and looked like he ducked on another one |
ah i see, the problems with being superman. supposed to catch everything; on the rare occasion that it is out of reach, and you dont jump for it, its "omg youre not trying!!!" |
lol so stupid that anyone would think "drop and no effort". He got open in the endzone, bad pass. He got open in the middle of the field, thrown way late after Moss stops because he's WIDE OPEN. One of the easiest should be completions in the history of the game and he floats it. _________________

its crazy because the "wise guys" were all over minnesota this week. I knew it was a trap game for us, however i felt like this game would be like the bengals game last season. tough but we will pull through. We didnt look good in any phase of the game today. _________________

Moss definitely was missed on the TD and needs more playing time. The pass that was tipped it seemed like he might have been able to make a little more effort but it was high nonetheless. Honestly, only player on our team who makes those catches is Crabtree. Oh well, still teams are clearly respecting Moss and giving him a lot of cushion. _________________
