San Francisco 49ers (2-0) @ Minnesota Vikings (1-1)
 vs 
 
 
We've played them in the pre-season, now it's time to play against them again in the regular season. The last time we played at Minnesota Brett Favre defeated us with that final heave to the endzone for a TD. I'm hoping that stays fresh in our defenses minds next week, as we take on an up an coming Vikings team.
Keys to the game:
Lock Harvin down - I know AP is their strongest weapon on offense, but Harvin is another guy who can take it to the house at any given time. We need to keep him in check and make sure he can't make that play.
Keep giving Alex time - O-line has been doing a solid job giving Alex time to make his reads. They talked somewhat of a big game after last night, so they need to back that up. This Vikings pass rush is no joke.
Better pressure - It doesn't seem like we've been getting as much pressure as we normally do, hopefully that changes. Nothing gets me more excited than seeing our defense attack the QB.
Do something in the 3rd quarter - The 3rd has been very lackluster for us. We generally flatten out and it allows our opponents to catch up or take the lead. Something needs to be done, if we played the 3rd like we do the 1st or 4th then we can be unstoppable.
Give the freak more snaps- I'm sure Moss wants to score a td or two on his old team. We should implement him more to make sure his talent isn't just sitting on the bench.

I see a big win coming this week. The defense is going to have at least 2 interceptions, and the offense will capitalize on mistakes in the Viking secondary.

Truthfully, the Vikings don't suck. BUT they are a poorly coached team that likes to shoot themselves in the foot, which will not go over well against a team as good as the 49ers.
I'm scared for the safety of Percy Harvin. As you guys might know, he's like Adrian Peterson out there. Delivering as many hits as he takes, running through the middle of the field at 100 miles per hour, and getting plenty of targets. I could see Willis, Bowman, or even Whitner absolutely rocking him on multiple occasions.

I'm actually worried about Harvin, sure we'll get a couple good tackles on us, but he has that big play ability and could be a game changer.

Harvin and AD are serious weapons, and I like what I have seen from Ponder. (Not much but what I have seen)
What are the strengths and weaknesses of the Vikes?

The lurker looks like he could be Kap's skinny cousin.
I'm afraid this may be our closest game yet. The niners played down to their competition most of last year and because of that, I expect a close-ish game. Harvin is a complete stud that can break any game open and fits the mold of small shifty guys that the D has had issues with historically.
