Yeah its sunday but f it, i want to pretend the Miami game never happend.
Raiders
Vs
Steelers
Game on CBS at 1:00 with Ian Eagle and Dan Foutes doing commentary
What we have to do
1- RUN THE DAMN BALL- our run game has to wake up
2- PLAY DEFENSE- Steelers O-Line is crap our front 4 has to step up
3- Limit Flags
4- Protect The Ball
5- Play with some damn heart
6- Field Position
7- Big Plays
8- Red Zone TD's
We are inside a coffin and the Steelers are trying to put the nails in, we win we kick them the f out, we loose we're screwed. MUST WIN
Match Ups To Watch
Raiders Front 4 Vs Steelers O-Line- Pitts O-Line is not good, we need kelly and seymour to wake up and start causing havoc, we have to put pressure on Ben and put him on his [inappropriate/removed].
Spencer Vs Wallace- Spencer has allowed 2 catches in 2 games, time for him to limit Wallace, hopefully his front 4 will help him
Dmac Vs Steelers Front 7- We need to run the ball against them, no other choice, we run the ball good and we'll have a lot of 3rd and shorts and 2nd and mediums, something we haven't had in a long time
Ike Taylor Vs Denarius Moore- Taylor is a beast and we need Moore to have his way against Taylor, thats going to be a good match up
James Harrison and Troy P Vs Trainers Room- Srsly, we need them to sit this one out
Pictures to make this GDT sexy
we got this _________________

I don't see the Raiders having a chance in this game. Big Ben, Wallace, and Brown are going to tear up the secondary. The only way for the Raiders to have a chance defensively is if the line could put a lot of pressure on Roethlisberger and maybe create some turnovers. Offensively, it will be interesting to see if Greg Knapp tries to establish the run, and how long will it take him to give up on it. I think the Steelers secondary could be beat, but I don't trust the line to hold up long enough. Hopefully the Raiders will surprise me, but I doubt it. Until the Raiders can run the ball, I think they'll lose every game. _________________

Good to thank positive, but "I just can't baby" how can I when the Raiders might be the Dolphins only win this year don't you realize how bad the Raiders might be this year.
Getting rid of Michael Bush so far looks like a very bad idea. |

Obviously Michael Bush could part the sea of lineman that our OL isn't blocking by himself using divine intervention. _________________

And why is that? If McFadden goes down, we're screwed with or without Bush. Bush has had nothing to do with McFaddens prior success. _________________

+1 It's amazing what people say after losses sometimes. _________________

This is McFadden's first time without being a 1-2 punch he had Felix Jones in Arkansas and Bush in Oakland, at the same time the O-Line looks like trash.
The Raiders need to get a LG, RG and RT
Cooper Carlisle washed up needs to go
Khalif Barnes washed up needs to go
Is Mike Brisiel any better ? Not sure if he is.
Are the back-ups any better don't look like it.
They are what they are a patch work team that was way over the cap and had no money to get top free agents. |

It's simple, McFadden doesn't have the patience or vision for the zone blocking scheme.
Don't put all the blame on the line....there are holes and the holes move McFadden just has trouble finding them.
Bush had patience and vision, but he lacks elite speed for the zone blocking scheme. The scheme needs to be scrapped. We have the line man for power blocking scheme...McFadden needs a nice hole that he could hit with authority and momentum. Knapp and this scheme is hampering him.
We're going to get stomped by the Steelers and I live in PA and hate the Steelers and their fans that I'm surrounded by...I hate losing to them. |

Dude, lacking a complimentary back is not the problem, if you really think so, you are totally blind and probably just looking at box scores rather than watching the games. Yes, typically having another effective RB helps by wearing the defense out while allowing your starter to rest, but thats not the problem here. Its not like McFadden is starting out well and fading in the game from being overworked, the offensive line isn't opening any holes for him! I repeat: the offensive line isn't opening any holes for him! You know what would happen if we had Bush, or any other good RB right now? He would be rushing for 2 yards per carry as well.
Anyway, the only things we have going for us in this game is the fact that Pitt's offensive line is abysmal and if our defensive linemen and blitzing LBs play up to their potential, we could have a field day getting after Roethlisberger, and that Redman sucks. _________________
