Bud Adams passed away this morning in Houston. Sad news. First Bum and now Bud. Crying or Very sad

Also, our 6th round pick Chris Jones, who is now with the Patriots have 3.5 sacks on the season, including 2 yesterday against the Jets. He has the same amount as Antono Smith and Earl Mitchell COMBINED.

He also cost them the game on the dumb penalty on the Folk missed FG

I'm not blaming him for that. I'm putting that blame squarely on Belichick. You can tell by how he talked about it after the game that he never read the rule just heard it and heard someone say second level player. You can also tell that wasn't some on the fly decision to push the guy, but a planned, practiced play. Players aren't keeping up with that on their own, it's the coaches who make sure the players know the rules. They failed there, not Jones.

Reminded me of the play in week one where the Chargers got flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct for hitting our long snapper Jon Weeks on a Field Goal attempt and we got a TD on the next play. I must have heard 5 different announcers proclaiming that this was the "1st time in NFL history" anything like this was actually enforced in a game, proving again that for a huge portion of the press, if it doesn't happen in New York or Boston it doesn't happen at all.

Man Ax2's boy Marvin Jones with 120 yards and 3 TDs today....

Megatron with 329 yards Shocked

Dez being Dez on the sidelines.

And Chris Jones with another big game for the Pats. 7 tcks, 1 sack, 2 TFLs. We really messed up trying to pass him on the PS

ILB - Who would you choose?

Player A: 6' 4" / 250 lbs / 4.42 40 / 1.56 10 yard split / 23 bench / 36" vert / 10' 4" broad jump / 4.28 shuttle / 7.04 3 cone / 34 5/8" arms / 9 3/4" hands / current age: 25 / (last year of college: 112 tackles / 11.5 TFL / 4 sacks / 1 INT / 5 PD / 3 FF)

Player B: 6' 3" / 243 lbs / 4.64 40 / 1.53 10 yard split / 30 bench / 35" vert / 10' broad jump / 4.14 shuttle / 6.84 3 cone / 31.5" arms / 10" hands / current age: 26 / (last year of college: 73 T / 10.5 TFL / 3 sacks / 1 INT / 7 PD / 1 FF)

Player A: Martez Wilson Player B: Brian Cushing

Player A was just waived by the Raiders. I suspect that his arm injury has not fully healed - which is why Raiders cut him. I would bring him to see if he can play ILB or OLB in our scheme and possibly stash on IR.

While I agree with you about giving Martez a call, those combine stats still favor Cushing, though its close. The key tests are 10-yard split, shuttle, and 3-cone stats. It's all about short area quickness and change of direction.

But we should definitely give Martez Wilson a call as he has more talent than the PS guys we are currently throwing out there.

I hear you. But as you pointed out, the guy is probably better than most of the backup players currently on the roster.

PLUS, he could potentially play OLB - allowing Reed to slide inside (despite what Ol' Man Wade says)
