Quote:
in the Week 16 rematch with the Dolphins, quarterback Tom Brady suffered a slightly separated left shoulder, according to Albert Breer of NFL Network.

Given that there was a separation, itís hard not to wonder whether the shoulder affected Bradyís accuracy in the Super Bowl, especially after he was crunched by Giants defensive lineman Justin Tuck. Later, Brady badly underthrew tight end Rob Gronkowski

If it was his throwing arm, or a fully separated shoulder I'd have been more impressed. But a slight separation in a non-throwing shoulder for a QB doesn't really impress me much, even if he's taking NFL hits.

This just in, Jake Locker will play 2day with a separated shoulder on his non-throwing shoulder. Should I have made a thread?

The title is extremely misleading.

Giving the fact that he probably played with the injury in the SB, i would consider it somewhat news worthy, yep.

Ben Roethlisberger thinks the Patriots are talking too much about injuries...

I don't think anybody really cares that Brady had a non-throwing arm shoulder separation suffered in week 16. Sure, it probably hurts, but it just sounds like such an excuse. Why reveal it now? Ridiculous.

Don't understand how this or the Logan Mankins were NFLNews forum worthy.

Agreed.

Also, agreed.

It's the NFL, everyone plays through injuries, it's not really "news" IMO.

Maybe in week 16 when it happened it would've been news, right now, it's just an excuse.

Everyone put your nose close to the computer screen and inhale deeply.

Smell that?

That's what an excuse smells like.
