if it's not balsamic infused cheese, you're doing it wrong.

We should rescue this thread and turn it into a valid cheese discussion thread.

i enjoy a good fior di latte

also has anyone tried Leipäjuusto? bake it for about 5 minutes and it's heavenly

Cabot Seriously Sharp cheddar is the best deal i've found on cheese to this point in my life.

It's fantastic for like like $11 a pound or whatever it is.

does anyone have any good recommendations on cheese spreads?

there's a good place in door county called renards cheese. i enjoy their cream cheese with chive spread on melba garlic rounds.

very delectable snack

Right so I come in peace as an Eagles fan/forumer who is trying to reach 1K by sunday midnight. But anways us in the Eagles forum are strongly thinking that most of you have no life...Or there isn't anything to do in Wisconsin...

Thoughts?
I live in Camden. The Eagles haven't known the meaning of the word block until recently. I have no intention of switching allegiance.

Kewaunee County doesn't get the rep Door County gets but it has some good cheese factories as well.

unfortunately i'm lactose intolerant as well... started about 2 yrs ago...really sucks. they make pills to eat with dairy, to help you digest it properly, but they don't work all that great.

anyways, extra sharp cheddar is my fav.

and provolone.

and smoked mozzarella.

and port wine! MMMMM

and munster! mmmm

I think I'm going to invite the Eagles fans to chill in here. We haven't posted with them much since the playoff game two years ago.

As for the cheese, nothing quite compares to fresh mozzarella.

Also, I got this American cheese at the dollar store. So far I haven't been able to make it melt.

edit: literally. I've set it aflame. It doesn't melt. Soon I'm going to investigate the chemical properties to see if it's edible.
