Good game guys. I hope that Brees' ankle does not get any worse as the adrenaline runs off.

Good luck the rest of the way, we'll see you guys agin.

You are way too optimistic, my friend.

We've played sloppy and people are overreacting. Take away a blown coverage or a bad throw in either game and we're 2-0 instead of 0-2.

Meh, IDK, I feel like the score in boths games have made it look a lot closer than it really was.

So who we taking in the top 5?

My top 5 would be, in order:
QB Matt Barkley, USC (Let him sit a year then trade Brees)
DT/NT John Hankins, tOSU
NT Star Lotulelei, Utah
DE Barkevious Mingo
DE/OLB Jarvis Jones

I'm not sure what to think. I think we're much better than we've shown, but man some of these issues need to be sorted out asap.

Alot of it right now is stupid mental errors. Easy drops, missed blocks, but alot of it is schematic.

For example, chip blocks. I haven't seen many this year, but we used this last year, and had a lot of success. It's obvious Bushrod or Streif couldn't push back Oprah if she was a pass rusher. So give them help.

Also, our coverage scheme needs to be sorted out. Corey White is getting continuously picked on and eventually burned.

Brees is trying to do too much. Last year he was cutting loose and just playing, this year he's trying too hard, not being smart, and it's killing our season already.

I'm already on the "Bring back GW" bandwagon, there's still a couple seats left... But really, this [removed] is ridiculous. "Live by the blitz, die by the blitz" is a whole lot better than "let's just not get any penetration and let all the receivers run free". GW's system may have been ridiculously stubborn, but we also went 13-3. Plus, Spags doesn't seem very hands on. GW was constantly in players' faces, constantly pumping them up, and getting more from our D. Spags just seems like the distant, wraith-like figure that doesn't think he should be all that involved with the D.

WE CHOSE KROMER AS THE IIHC FOR A REASON SPAGS, GET WITH THE DEFENSE.

The way we've played is disgusting. We are not a [removed] comeback team, we're a get out and stay out team.

I'm constantly berating our line, but for good reason. The game starts on the line, and is 95% of the time decided on the line. BUT OUR OFFENSIVE LINE WON'T MAKE A [removed] BLOCK.

I'm freaking pissed. The Saints need to get it the hell together.

I have not posted or have been on in awhile. sorry I just got married and was on my honeymoon. but watching the scores, seems as though the D is costing big plays. as bad as it looks, I still have faith. seems they need to take a good hard look in the mirror and stand up. I wonder who can man up on D?

There is a language filter for a reason.

If you're getting:
Quote:
[inappropriate/removed]
or having to use ---- to cover up the words you're really saying, then you need to adjust your posting style.

If you can't post without using profanity, then take a break from posting until you've cooled down a bit.

No official warning, but don't let it happen again.

Once Greer gets his legs back we'll be much better. The less time Corey White sees the field, the better.

It's ok Raves. the New Orleans Saints look like they are on the bottle too...No need for the fans this year thus far to stay sober either.

We need Joe Vitt. Kromer just isn't ready to be a HC, he's too timid and laid back. The offensive gameplan has been a disaster too, Pierre Thomas was DESTROYING this defense, give the man the ball. I don't care if we're down a TD, slow the game down, let Pierre do work and control the pace of the game.

Darren Sproles has 0 rushes on the year, Mark Ingram has 0 catches on the year. Thats absolutely idiotic. Teams know EXACTLY whats happening when either player comes in. Get Sproles in there and run some HB draws and tosses, get Ingram in there and let him run some outs, when I can sit on my couch and call out what the offensive is going to do we have a problem.

I see a few huge problems. The defense is awful but that is nothing new. The offense has then a step back. Receivers are dropping balls. I think that Brees hold out has interfered with their rapport. Sure the receivers are also to blame...but Brees also deserves a little credit. A huge problem is that the Saints cannot pass Downfield. Morgan is definitely not radio to contribute and the Saints don't have anyoneelse. Its nothing but dinks and dunks all game.

How about this...

Bench Ellis, Jenkins, and Smith on passing downs. Let Jenkins play nickel. Put Hicks in as asa starter. Put IAQ in as a starter. Put Wilson in on passing downs...and on as many plays as possible. Its not a complete fix but the defense will get better.

Akiem Hicks and Martez Wilson need to play more. Hicks gets penetration everytime I see him play and Martez Wilson got talked up ALL off season...only for us to not see him on the defense at all. WTF is that?
