As long as McClellan stays at SAM and Upshaw plays at RUSH it shouldn't be too bad.

McClellan doesn't play SAM, he plays RUSH.

I'm sure you would agree that everyone would be better off with him playing SAM, at least for today (IMO, he should play there permanently).

Maybe, but I doubt he would be very good at setting the edge and that's a big responsibility at that spot. To my knowledge McClellan hasn't lined up at SAM at any point this season and preseason and I'm not expecting it to change.

Woah. Kindle and Upshaw will need to step up today.

For me the biggest factor will be our offensive line. Their front 7 is undoubtedly better than Cincinnati's, but if Flacco can get the ball out early and the offensive line can put in a solid shift, we should still be able to move the ball.

Game worries me a bit with it being the home opener for them and us coming off of a big win. Could say a lot about how serious we should take this team if they do come out and put on a big performance against quality competition.

Now that I think about it, Kruger was pretty much nonexistent last week anyway.

That was some horrible blocking.

Big penalty.
