If you want to wait on a player Cornellius Carradine would be a good pick in the 4-5th round. He will have to sit for a year though as he tore up his knee.
The only problem is we need immediate contributors as the core ages. _________________ A circle. The direction the Cowboys continue to travel. |

Sounds like just our kind of guy. Torn up knee dropping a good talent and will have to sit a year? Sign us up! _________________

I really really want Jonathan Jenkins out of Georgia, but I think he, along with Richardson, Lotuelei, and Hankins, will be gone when the Cowboys pick. If all of them are, I think we have to go OG, which isn't a bad thing.
What are the opinions of Kwame Geathers, as a later round pick, if he declares? _________________

I'd imagine if Geathers declared he'd be a 2nd or 3rd round pick...definitely wouldn't mind taking a look at him if we went OL in the 1st. _________________

I think that Jenkins not playing in the bowl game hurts his stock. That and the DT class is so deep that he may fall.
Not a fan of Geathers. He has weight issues and doesn't really do anything other than get in the way _________________

Just a pipe dream, but getting Mike Wallace on offense would be fun. _________________

Daboys check out Ga. vs Nebraska. That will give you an accurate barometer if Geathers. Geathers would be ok in the 4th round. _________________ A circle. The direction the Cowboys continue to travel. |

John Jenkins is not that great of a prospect, he prefers to chicken fight with lineman than make plays but also uses his weight as an advantage against college athletes. _________________

I could really see us get rid of Austin, Free, Ratliff, Sensabaugh so we can clear some cap space. Start using younger players. _________________

If we dump Sensabaugh what's your take on Kenny Vaccaro (S) UT? _________________

Caught a couple of UT games. Dudes got a motor and can hit like a champ. _________________

Vaccaro was the lone bright spot for Texas. He is currently my top safety prospect. That said, I wouldn't take him in the top 20 |
I haven't watched Vaccaro play but Lande has him as his #7 overall prospect. _________________

I see an immovable object in the run game. He absolutely has to be blocked with two guys. No questions asked. He would be perfect in the middle of our 3-4 with Lee and Carter free to move round him.

He does not get pushed back an inch. They can. not. move him. He provides no pass rush, but he absolutely eats up the center and the guard. That would allow Lee and Carter to move freely in the in the middle. They have him playing DE a lot in this game, where it seems he isn't as effective, but he still stops the run in it's tracks. He allows zero push. None. That's probably a lot of the reason why they had a top 30 defense in the nation.
