Do some projection for a moment.

Dez is our number 1. Just pretend he gets his act together and what not. Harris/King Cole are our #3 (slot guy). What type of individual would you want as a #2?

Corradelle Patterson.

Patterson is a good option, and certainly fits the bill. Still not entirely sure I would spend a premium pick on a WR though, which Patterson should be. But great suggestion, Tony.

I am also a fan of Markus Wheaton, who we may be able to grab on the third day

Dammit Tony. I am starting to like you, and you are an FSU fan. There is an issue here.

[Just projected Patterson to us in my latest mock I am musing over]

Why is no one talking about Cliff Avril? He can easily fill Spencer's role if he walks.

Can he play SOLB? I was under the impression that he was strictly a hand in the dirt 4-3 end

Would rather have someone with experience from dropping back in coverage for SOLB. Also, I don't think he really is going to be that cheap and if ESPN is right we will have some trouble with the cap.

He will be as expensive as Spencer, and is not nearly as good against the run.

If we don't re-sign Spencer, the only other guy I want in free agency is Connor Barwin.

The only SOLB? Or the only player period?

With the way he has played over the last few weeks, he is in for a really decent payday. But I would love him too, think he would fit in nicely

James Hanna is going to be our #2 TE...don't see the need in drafting or signing another top-notch TE

We should get someone though to be our #3.
