Gonna try to tonight. Pretty much done watching Geathers though. Anyone in particular you want me to focus on? |
I'm kind of curious as to how Burfict and Rey did (vincent that is). I was having a tough time singling out players with the chaos in my house (2 year olds are destructive when you have no kids and the house isn't toddler proofed!). |
Vincent Rey was pretty bad. Basically just stood back and waited for plays to develop. Hopefully his playing time is cut or it was just early season/playing time jitters.
Burfict did good but was hard to judge. He was more aggressive/decisive than our other LB's but a lot of the plays didn't go his way.
Also the goat of the defense, even more than Geathers, was Miles. Really disappointed because he looked good in preseason. Miles took a horrible angle on the first T-Rich TD run, then on the T-Rich catch for a TD, he had an easy tackle after Rey missed but he missed as well. Then on the TD to Greg Little, he blew his zone. 3 TDs on Miles. Inexcusable.
Lastly Orson Charles > Gresham. Not sure what happened but either Gresham isn't interested or he's soft. Charles is a 100x better blocker and doesn't make the mental mistakes that Gresham does. I say bench Gresham already for Charles... _________________

I don't know about benching Gresh but I would definitely like to see Charles on the field more.
If we bench Miles then it's Mays and we have more injured players. No doubt I think S is a very high need this year. _________________

How would our 'D' be looking right now with Justin Smith @ DE and Ahmad Brooks @ SLB ? _________________ " I imagine that in Paul McCartneys' house, he must have a shelf with the 12+ great 'Beatles' studio albums neatly stacked. Neither did much for us, so......
If I could get one back, how about a head-on-straight Odell Thurman _________________

Agreed. He's probably better off as an end in the 3-4, but honestly, that's not even a good fit for him. He'd have to be traded.
And for the millionth time, this team isn't switching to a 3-4.
I never thought Madieu was a good safety. He was ok, but every time i looked up he was being burned or stiff armed into submission. _________________
