Impressive defense considering we had two rookies starting. They scored and gave the team a chance to win and more. Touchdown by Jackson was awesome. Cool game to watch if you love defense. The DBS held their own with explosive WRs from Philly. The rookie linebackers were damn impressive.

I hate that we gave up a ton of yards however bend but don't break was effective.

I was really impressive with the defense. The offense was awful but at least the defense showed a lot of promise. And how bout Phil Dawson? Still having to carry our team

The D looked great, especially the young backers. If these guys keep playing like this, we may have found some real gems.

83 plays. 5.2 yards per play. We continuously got to Vick. We forced 5 turnovers. That's one fourth of what we did last season. Name another team who can run 83 plays, give up 17 points, force five turnovers, have relentless pressure, and then give up just 5.2 yards per play. Three teams, if that? Our defense played better than I've seen them play the past few regimes, especially considering how potent the Eagles O is. |

They ran 88 plays. The run D was not very good at times I will agree

Because we forced that many turnovers is why it was good.
Turnovers NORMALLY breed victories.
Seeing as we are the Browns though, we defy normalcy.

I agree the YPC was bad. However I'm not looking at total yards when evaluating how good it is

| A little perspective. There are 10 games in the books so far this season and the Browns are ranked 19th out of 20 teams in total defense. I think they played better than that ranking indicates, but I still don't know how you can consider the D's performance to be outstanding or even good. |
