With 2 stuffs.
I know i questioned Burris, so i'm here to say i'm impressed with his play. And in general are linebackers have been very encouraging.
Can Miles make a run for rookie of the year?

Probably not a ROTY candidate but I'm excited to watch him progress. I admit, I wasn't impressed with him before. But he's refining his game quite well. He can do it all, he just needs experience and to control his aggressiveness. Studying under Allen and Tarver should help a lot. _________________

| Ya he did much better his first game than I thought he would and I had high hopes. Even had him on my mock drafts. But he has exceeding expectations so far. |

He had a couple rookie mistakes. Bit on the reverse at one point, but very encouraging young player. I love his energy and motor. It's what you want/need in a LB.
His biggest issue is shedding blocks and he needs to keep in control. He gets better each week, but he wants to fly to the ball and takes himself out of position at times.
Great young player who will hopefully keep growing. _________________

I've told 3828 before, but he kind of reminds me of a young and more raw Cushing. _________________

yup. Once he learns to control his motor he is going be a very nice player. |

Fixed.
At least what I saw in college. SDSU plays the 3-3-5 defense and he played at the LOS for the majority of games. Kind of roaming and rushing the pass and not in coverage very much.
He did struggle a bit in coverage in preseason, but being that we run zone much more he should be OK being that he is a solid tackler. _________________

And he's not playing on the nickel package. Which makes his 12 tackles even more impressive, btw. _________________

Very impressed with him tbh, think he has a Romo look about his play. _________________

In my opinion they are a joke. In the last ten years there drafts sucked. | #clueless |

I dont know if its just his number, his similar phyichal build and appearance, or just his playing style... but I agree. _________________ First jersey purchased: Jamarcus Russell.

I hate the Raiders like I hate hell and all Montagues. That being said, you guys should cut Burris right now. Do it! Take up a collection for a billboard or something and get him off your roster. _________________

Check out San Diego State games much?
Before we go anointing Burris the "poorman's anything", imo much of his production is the result of the DL FINALLY doing it's job! _________________ 2013 Mancrush: DT Richardson, OT Joeckel, FS Vaccaro, FS Rambo, WR Dobson, RB Michael, TE McDonald, OT Foketi, WR Swope |
