Alrighty boys and girls, let's get this on. Write-ups. I'll kick it off:

Player:
Michael Huff

Stats:
6 tkl, (4 solo)

Performance:
To be honest, I didn't see much Huff in the game. He looked like his tackling has improved but like I said, I didn't see a lot of him. He got beat by Gates one time I remember for sure. Good to see that we didn't need him as our last line of defense cause we were getting torn up by a RB like we're used to.

Next up:
Taking his talents to south beach. I know Miami doesn't have much at the TE or WR positions, but hopefully Huff can keep up solid play. I'm looking for him to come in on at least one blitz on Tannehil. Hopefully he can cause a fumble or get a sack or something.

Brandon Myers:

5 catches 65 yards.

Found success late in the game when Raiders were forced to pass. Couple nice catch and runs. No major errors in blocking assignments on run downs.

Raiders need to find a way to get Myers more involved early. He has pass catching skills over the middle. I expect less McFadden underneath this week and Myers to find space in the middle w/ Moore back to stretch the field.

Matt Shaughnessy
3 solo tackles and 1 assisted plus half a sack
Did well setting the edge and being in right spot against the run. dropped back in coverage a few times and wasnt a huge liability.

Even though he did get a half sack i was disappointed in his lack of pass rush going against a undrafetd free agaent. needs to put more pressure on the qb.

Al Miller - Strength and Conditioning Coach

4 Solo muscle massages and 2 successful on field rehabs

Did a good job instilling confidence during 2 cramp up incidences and 3 sore left quadriceps complaints. Was able to get our players back on the field quickly and without much hassle.

Half responsible for Condo's head injury which arguably led to our demise. Should have quickly diagnosed no concussion and threw him back into the fray.

......oh wait.....

Good point. Those crazy power hungry fools will stop at nothing to hinder our fun.

Tyvon Branch:
5 tackles
Overall he had a solid game. He held Gates in check for most of the time. There were some unusuall drops by Gates, some of them were because of Branch's aggressive present IMO. He had one penalty, which was a good call by the officials...
I think he remains among the better anti-TE weapons in the league.

I hope next week he will get some blitzing opportunities against the Dolphins...I would like to see Tarver getting aggressive against the rookie QB!!

Lamarr Houston

2 solo tackles. I felt that he did well for the most part. I saw him pressure Rivers from time to time and set the edge well. He had an overall decent game imo

Rolando McClain

5 tackles (4 solo)

He was outstanding in all aspects. His leadership was on display. He blew up several run plays. He got everybody in position before every snap. He made shoe string tackles. He did not make any major mistakes.

If he can continue this next week and help stop the run vs. Miami and force Tannehill to win by passing the ball, our defense will have a field day with him. Definitely a fantasy dream for anyone starting Oakland's defense.

Derek Hagan

Caught 4 out of 5 thrown his way for 44 yards.

Not to bad for a guy sitting on the couch last week! Cool

He had some big catches that kept drives alive.

Hopefully we will see more fo him as the season goes on, and Carson learns to trust him more.

Because no one adopted Greg Knapp or Travis Goethal. Taiwan Jones would have a bad one I guess if he got adopted. Maybe Kelly.

Tommy Kelly

4 Tackles (2 Solo), 1 Stuff

-Had two bonehead offsides on defense that kept the Chargers drive going. Aside from the mental lapses, he physically played a solid game and generated good pressure up the middle especially on running plays. He should play a key role in stopping Reggie Bush next week.
