Hopefully you guys can read this, but right now this is the best format that I can think of right now;
Sorry for the sore eyes, but as of right now the best format I can do. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Love these threads from Khodder. Few quick thoughts:
1. That's a ton of Cover 1 and man off. Much like last year.
2. First PI on Peterson was ridiculous. I watched it back, that's nowhere near a catchable football.
3. I though the EXACT SAME THING on that last pass to Rice in the end zone. How is the flag on Peterson a few plays earlier pass interference and this one on Rice isn't? They're both arm blocking the receiver/defender. The exact samr thing, 1 gets flagged, 1 doesn't. I wasn't happy with that at all but I was too into the game at the time to really comment. _________________

I came away from this impressed with Russell Wilson. He made some very good coverage reads, in particular against 2 deep, his biggest play of the game (27 yarder to Miller) was a perfect read and throw.
However he then came back with his next throw against a similar shell and just overthrew the ball for an INT. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Initial Metrics for Week One.
Walker's are incorrect. It should read 1 target, 1 catch, 11 yards allowed. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Is the "TD" portion supposed to be PD, as in passes defensed? _________________

Nope it is TD I gave the Rice TD to Rhodes. To me it looked like Cover Four and Rhodes was responsible for the zone the catch was made in. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

LOL, I'm an idiot. I thought it was showing a defensive touchdown. And I was puzzled. _________________

I remember you saying you thought Peterson might have allowed one catch on Sunday? Can you remember which one it might have been? _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

| These charts show the value a guy like PP has to the overall defense. He is put in man coverage and didn't allow a catch. Should have had an INT. Got one questionable PI but the other one was a good call. he did his job and if it wasn't for ST the defense overall held their own. |

Khodder, this is so cool - thanks for taking the time to put this together! I came away from the game saying that I was impressed by Wilson (even though his overall game stats weren't all that worthy of bragging) and this pretty much gives me an idea why that was. Of course, there were some issues with execution, but his decision-making really was surprisingly sound. Unfortunately, he is just going to get better with more experience, which means we will need to step it up come our next meeting with the Seahawks. It obviously also shows what was going on with the pass D. There's some very interestingly designed plays in there...now I wish I hadn't already deleted the game from the DVR so I could watch again! _________________

Khodder-
Were you planning on tracking passes defensed as well? _________________
